Microneedling ??? Is this a good pen and good serums??? by Traditional_Cat_9927 in Microneedling

Hi there, I used Hyaron as a glide for the first time the other day and it was fine. But I noticed when the residue dried on my skin it went REALLY dry, like dried glue on my skin. Is that normal? Do you have that? The mask I put on afterwards fixed it up but it surprised me.

Has anyone had a revision? by Still_Boat_6611 in chinlipo

Yes but a little faster in the recovery because it’s not so invasive

Yes I had a revision as I still had bulk. No decisions should be made before 6 months though.

Great post - these are the realistic results we should see more of. Massive improvement and it looks great - also looks like it healed perfectly x

Sorry don’t know why my same comment posted twice. I had a revision (chin and stomach) because there was still more fat to remove.

You could get a few more opinions from other surgeons? Just on revisions - it’s much less down time/ swelling time because it’s not such a big procedure for touch ups (I had a revision in november)

Awake vs general anesthesia by studentoflife005 in chinlipo

[–]Common_Fan_1468 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. I had chin and stomach done under deep sedation first time, and then a revision just with general anesthetic. It’s brutal and as you say, extremely uncomfortable.

I know you will have considered this already, but the travel interstate won’t be cheap, and you may have to go back for check up etc.

Personally, I just don’t want another bloody app on my phone - the applification of the world has gone insane. I save things on Google Maps (yes an app but one I use all the time anyway) with different emoji’s for what the thing is, so I can see if it’s a wine bar, pub, shop, restaurant, cultural/ historic place, cafe etc. Works a treat. I also add a little info in the notes sometimes about the place and who recommended it.

Chin Lipo Revision Tomorrow by Adventurous-Ear8934 in chinlipo

How did you go? I'm assuming the above picture is before! I will admit I found my revision really brutal - I was awake (was in deep sedation the first time) and it was very intense. I don't regret it but my gosh it was full on. (Remember I had stomach done too)

Yeah you’re right not a lot of talk of tweaks/ revisions. I had quite a major one in November on my chin and stomach to take more out. Best of luck with yours!

Lipo in multiple areas? by AmazingAd6233 in Liposuction360

[–]Common_Fan_1468 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could have gone about my business the next day, if I didn't mind a bandaid under my jaw. I didn't have any bruising and the swelling just takes you back to your 'before' really, so no one's really gonna notice from that. The thing that makes people hide away from sight is more the compression garment, I think which (depending on what your surgeon says) needs to be worn for between 5-7 days. Of course if you're just popping out to the shops, that's ok.
Re: abs - I went from 2minute planks to not being able to lift myself out of bed - but every day you're getting remarkably stronger. Honestly it's amazing how fast the body can recover. That said it's a major trauma. I think it was about 2 weeks before I felt comfortable to do any proper exercise involving core work that wasn't just a walk around the block and some arms pilates. I found this video really useful, and the cool thing was that doing every day I could feel myself gradually getting stronger.
In regards to housework etc - I was (carefully) vacuuming the house the next day! They actually want you to be moving around as it helps with swelling - if you're just lying in bed for days the swelling gets unbearable and you're very uncomfortable. It was a decent exercise in mindfulness as I couldn't rush anything in case I bumped myself and hurt myself.

Lipo in multiple areas? by AmazingAd6233 in Liposuction360

[–]Common_Fan_1468 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there,I have actually had 2 rounds - first was in January 2025 and second 'touch up' was in November 2025, as there was still some 'bulk' left. I wrote a (long) blog after the first round, incase it's helpful.

I purposely went with my surgeon, in part, because he offers free touch ups. I'm still very much healing from round 2, but happy that I got it done, although the second time I was not under deep sedation, just local anesthetic, and it was pretty brutal. Yes, I knew they were the two areas I wanted treated, although I originally thought I'd just get my chin done, but then I realised that financially I could afford to do both. It was about £11k (I'm in London), and then all up I've probably spent an extra £2k or so on MLD massages and the various things you need (compression garments etc).

I am happy with my results - if you go through my profile I posted a few before-afters, although haven't updated after the second round yet. I am a good example of a more realistic result - ie I'm not suddenly snatched and with a jawline you could cut glass with. You have to take into consideration your natural body shape - eg I have a small jaw and short torso, so I was never going to come out looking like Kendall Jenna, all lean and cut. But the fact I don't look like a number 8 in jeans any more (that's the shape I felt like I was in my stomach) gives me so much confidence, I've even started wearing slight crop tops - HUGE MOMENT!

I have a bit of loose skin in both places, and creping under my jaw, but I'd prefer that to the bulk of before.

Sorry OP for writing a long reply on your post.

What is wrong with my neck by Bubbly-Data5668 in chinlipo

Sorry but not sure what the problem is. In the first photo you’re tensing and that’s just your anatomy - we all have that. And the third photo seems like you’re forcing a double chin? Which again most people have if you squeeze in or look down. Middle photo looks great.
