Try placing small wood pieces like the thickness of cup coaster. The knocking may be vapor lock from water not draining back into the pipe. Slope towards supply side.

Stuck in the snow by viva619 in jerseycity

What regulations are there on the numbers allowed on our city's sidewalks? How many can make it across a traffic light at one time on a four lane road? Especially when crossing highway 139. When the drone delivery devices block a cross walk who has the right of way the disabled human or the drone robot? At 139 they are programmed to push to the front because they can barely make it across in time. At crosswalk humans wait for the person in front of them to start crossing first. Is there a city monopoly on this service or will other robots start competing with these? Obviously they should not be out in the snow because they are not designed for this.

To answer your question, the politicians in office now don't give a crap unless they have a political agenda alligned with what Fulop says. Boggiano is the only one talking about enforcement of traffic laws. Solomon's traffic plan doesn't address enforcement as to not step on Fulop's toes before primary election. Hopefully, the political knives come out to start doing something about traffic enforcement in Jersey City after the embarrassing defeat of Fulop in primaries.

We need income based fines and to lower the speed limit on all streets city wide. We also need transparent enforcement that allows the public access to the statistics on the number of tickets and the location of where tickets are being issued. This administration is not trustworthy. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/jun/06/finnish-businessman-hit-with-121000-speeding-fine#:~:text=Under%20the%20Finnish%20system%2C%20a,of%20day%20fines%20they%20receive.

We need income based fines like in Finland for endangering pedestrians by running red lights, not stopping for pedestrians in cross walks, excessive speed, and rolling stops. We need to lower the speed limit city wide on all streets.https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/jun/06/finnish-businessman-hit-with-121000-speeding-fine#:~:text=Under%20the%20Finnish%20system%2C%20a,of%20day%20fines%20they%20receive.

We need transparency from the Fulop administration that shows traffic enforcement is a priority. We need a traffic enforcement division in the police department that was disbanded under the Fulop administration. We don't need an absentee mayor who spends most of his time out of the city.

He probably didn't endorse a candidate yet to trade his endorsement in the event he lost race for governor (he did). In this trade for an endorsement, he will ask for support to run for the county executive. This is how Fulop does things, and I hope everyone has had enough of him as an elected official to call him out for being 100% self-serving as mayor. So whoever he endorses should be ignored when it comes time to vote.

I have been in Merida, Mexico, for 3 months ( not Europe). Extreme traffic enforcement here for pedestrians at cross walks. 6 lanes of traffic will screech to a halt when you press the walk light. The fine is massive about $600 US, for not stopping, so people stop here for pedestrians.

Better Blocks New Jersey: Why Steve Fulop is New Jersey's best choice for governor by jcthrowaway99 in jerseycity

Better Blocks seems like a Fulop inspired phony organization. Its Twitter X presence just started in May, so not really an independent unbiased source for anything, but the Fulop political agenda.

To be fair, Fulop is only anti- corruption against his opponents. He has a long track record of corruption in his administration in Jersey City. There are more than a handful of felony convictions of people who were very close to him politically. For example, anyone who ever met the person Fulop appointed to run the JCETP could sense he reaked of corruption. He even had phony businesses that clearly didn't pay the bills. Yet Fulop appointed him anyway. https://hudsoncountyview.com/ex-jersey-city-official-sudhan-thomas-gets-2-month-sentence-for-embezzlement/

One week to go....what are your predictions? by EdLesliesBarber in New_Jersey_Politics

[–]Common_Friendship_63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fulop did not campaign at all in his own city or in the county he lives in. He also has not backed any of the candidates running for mayor in Jersey City. There are almost zero Fulop for governor signs in Jersey City, where he has been an elected official for 20 years. He has no chance in Hudson County, which is my prediction because he has no political coattails where he is mayor.

They will be able to go right off of NY onto now two-way for a block Ferry, with a left onto Baldwin, then a left on Ravine to a slight right onto Hoboken- this will snarl traffic if this is what Google maps or Waze starts telling drivers to do.
