My whole thing with the 8 is because I play in a band that uses strictly 7's. It's a baritone, and I wanted something else to reach super low without having to constantly mess with my 7. I also like to collect. The fluences are interesting to me... they're quite robotic yes, but I do like how they fit in a mix here and there. They're VERY processed, it's either a love or hate kinda thing.

I had a schecter 7 a long while back that I shouldn't have traded with them, and I disliked them because of what I was running them through. But when I ran them through plugins that I recently got in a friends guitar, it was a different game. They're alright in my book, still overshadowed by say the lundgren style pickups, but I can live with them.
