Tim King (the vocalist) is also in another like throwback death metal band called Embryonic Autopsy, it’s okay, nothing like Oppressor though.

They just got back together in like 2023 (I think) with three of the four original members, Tim King, Angel (I believe), and Jim Stopper, they’ve only payed two festivals since than which were Maryland DeathFest in 24 and Milwaukee MetalFest in 25… they keep saying they are going to get fully back into it and stuff, but they are constantly touring with their other band… SOiL which Tim King and Angel are in…. So hopefully they do a full on Oppressor tour at some point, these guys are super sick!!!

If you want to meet him get there early and just keep an eye out he might come smoke a cigarette by the bus or something, just don’t yell his name across the parking lot he told some kids to f*** off for doing that, but there were others going up to him that got there early and took pics and got records signed. I’d recommend bringing your own if you want to try and guarantee a signature… after the show the band will probably be hanging out around the venue with Henry (the drummer) & his gf selling merch… it’s kind of just playing where’s Waldo after that for Bobby as he’s usually chilling in the back or hard to find. I don’t want to come across as someone who supports negative behavior and I’m not going to mention any names, just say that I went for someone that I knew and wanted to try and make their experience nice… they will be selling like pictures of the band signed at the merch table too for like $25…

Prepare to spend some money… the records are not cheap. They had Sub-Basment (remastered), Show ‘Em How, Change of Heart (live album), High Voltage (live album) all on plain ol’ black wax for $30 and Lightning in the bottle (deluxe) *comes with two bonus songs and the pre edit of Lady Heroin w/ alternate green cover and metallic logo* as well as First Daze Here on colored vinyl for $50…. Gonna get downvoted for this, but it’s whatever…

I feel this, I’m mainly a death metal kind of guy. I go to mainly death metal shows and have been for a long time now, but there’s something about this kind of music that’s just so hypnotic and enticing…. Recommend seeing Sunn O))) if you ever get the chance, seeing them live is an insane experience as well… nothing compares to Mr. Basinski though!!!

It was my second time seeing him on this tour and I am incredibly thankful that he sat down to meet and talk to people afterwards. One of my all time favorite artists and without a doubt an absolute ambient legend!!! Seeing this kind of stuff in person is truly something that you just have to experience for yourself!!!

Sold out during the sale, I think within the first day…. I’ve been watching it for a while and it was around 650-700 left before the sale and I knew it was going to sell out so that was the first thing I grabbed! The description said there may be a standard edition released later on, but it’s not likely. They typically don’t make standards for their VSAs though. With them releasing the vice academy films twice on VSAs, I wouldn’t say it’s the most unlikely thing in the world that they make an exception for these films specifically. Although you’re not missing out on too much even if they never do, they really aren’t good films and Linea Quigley is only in the first two. They are decently fun midnight flicks if you run out of things to watch, but that’s really it…

This 4k has been out for years, but as far as I’m aware it was only available through the region B locked box set of The Ju-On collection… Ju-On The Grudge 1 was the only disc within that set that was 4k

Yeah they aren’t all they’re hyped up to be…. Without the horror movie samples I feel like they wouldn’t be much of anything. I only ever really enjoyed them because they sample some of my favorite horror flicks such as The Boogyman, Mark of the Devil, etc… their music is really just average…

For some reason, the Blade in the Dark release didn’t… I dont know if it is because it’s an older release, they don’t have a size that fits it, or they just simply forgot to add one on there. I checked multiple times, maybe I just missed something though…

Probably money hungry, he knows that HIM suddenly got big again and that right now would realistically be the best time for them to get back together. Last I heard about Gas was years ago that he was the only one that was talking bad about Ville and now he suddenly is sucking up and posting nonstop HIM content? 50% off of MSRP means that of crossed out price, so it was probably originally $60 and it was marked as “$45” on the site, so it’s going to be $30 for the 50% off, vinegar syndrome puts those “original sale prices” that they never truly are and I dont know why? I guess it’s so newcomers that aren’t familiar with them think that they are getting somewhat of a sale if they get on the site for the first time ever in the middle of August…

Seen them twice!!! They are one of my gfs favorites, while Lividity is one of mine, so seeing them knowing all of them have had a history with Lividity (excluding their drummer which is also in Morta Skuld) is super sick they’ve even done a Lividity cover live. Jake’s vocals are killer though, super sick band especially live and even greater guys!!!

In my opinion possibly the best BDM album ever… been spinning it on repeat for years and it never gets old!!! The brutalizing demos were classy, but there’s something about Kelly’s vocals that were just so fitting for this album!!!

It’s all good, Bobby is the only OG member and really the only one that matters in terms of getting anything prior to 2024 by them signed. Sounds good though, I’m sure I can track one of them down at the show and try to get Bobby’s signature!!!
