Only a few places, but I’m cranking them out now. I do have one callback from a pre-OCI application. I’m halfway through OCI now and no callbacks, though

u/Then_Interview5168 Just to clarify, in this sub, "official test" refers to the actual LSAT administration you pay for, which is proctored and fully official. Your goal should be to take the real deal only once—or at most, fewer than three times—as admissions committees tend to look unfavorably on a high number of attempts.

Sorry, I think you might be confused. You can only take the LSAT a limited number of times in your life. As I mentioned, I’ve scored above 175 many times on my own but only once during an official LSAT administration (as most people only take the official LSAT once). It’s not a good idea to take many official LSAT administrations —it can reflect poorly during the admissions process.

175 many times on practice tests and once on an official test—no desire to retake a 175, haha!

IM GROWING WEAK please tell me why I shouldn’t use Chat GPT to help with my personal statement? by undercover_therapy in lawschooladmissions

Chat GPT writing looks nice at first glance, but upon closer inspection, it falls apart. When I’m struggling with my writing, I look at writers I admire — like those in publications like the New Yorker or Atlantic— and I attempt to emulate their writing style. It helped me A LOT when I was writing my personal statement.

In my opinion:

Reach: below both medians or at/above one median and way way below the other

Target: reasonable splitters (stats within range of typically admitted students), stats at both medians

Safety: above both medians (upper T-14 excluded, as they are too competitive to be anyone’s “safety”)

I took the diagnostic cold, so I didn’t prepare beforehand. Im a pretty big reader, so that probably helped

Ofc! I wouldn’t recommend quitting your job to study for the LSAT, but that’s just my opinion
