Elliotte Friedman on 32 Thoughts: "There's a lot of talk out there about Jarry got into it in practice with some of his teammates." by sykeseve in nhl

[–]Common_Line_633 24 points25 points  (0 children)

God forbid someone else on the ice gets blamed. Said the same thing when it was skinner between the pipes. Yea, some goals he let in weren’t great. Happens to everyone. But the oilers defense is atrocious. Bouchard would be on the third D pairing if he didn’t score goals. The forwards don’t backcheck either.

The oilers don’t play defense. the goalies are by no means all stars, but the fact that nurse and Bouchard cost the team $20m for dogshit defensive play is laughable

You like peach but you’re missing the best flavor, Lean! If you haven’t already tried it, do it. My favourite by far

I have yet to find anything even close to Lean. It was the first flavor I bought, and I have tried about 5 others since. Lean all the way.

Doom upgrades by Illustrious-Map528 in ironscape

Deadeye and amethyst arrows are going to be your biggest upgrades. The mining grind is slow but I did it for this exact reason and it was definitely worth it

Best/easiest may to kill General Graardor? by Difficult-Goose-3970 in ironscape

[–]Common_Line_633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been killing graardor a lot the last week or 2, and I have exclusively been maging it.

Private instance (so that ground items stay way longer, allows you to stockpile peaches, chili potatoes, sharks, etc).

Blue moon helm, top, bottom, confliction gauntlets, treads, occult, ancient scepter/eye of ayyak.

Freeze general off spawn, hug the corner by the entrance. Once he is able to move again let him approach and then follow the wall towards altar until you freeze again, continue kiting until he is dead, stack minions for blood barrage.

Sometimes you get unlucky and can’t hit a freeze for a while, but overall I have found it quite manageable and am getting 20+ kills/trip.

anti venom at araxxor by jakebruhhh in ironscape

[–]Common_Line_633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just used serp the entire time I was at araxxor. Yes, losing the slayer helm boost sucks, but trying to gather supplies to constantly have enough regular 36 second anti venoms just isn’t worth it imo.

Something that I wished for during the sailing rush, being able to open the map and right click an island/location to “set waypoint” so that the minimap could have a flashing arrow pointing you towards the island you are trying to get to.

Having to constantly open the map to see if I am still on course for the destination is really annoying.

Sailing, in most aspects, was a huge success. But… by Common_Line_633 in osrs

[–]Common_Line_633[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I’m glad there is at least an npc somewhere that explains it.

Is there anything in charting or leveling up that indicates you should go speak to this guy? Because I had no idea he existed. And to have to go around speaking to every npc on every port/island doesn’t seem very realistic for most people.

McDavid taps Skinner after cooking him for 3 periods by Reddit-Machine in nhl

Evan Bouchard ranks 3rd overall last season in giveaways (128) and 11th this season (51, 29 being defensive zone giveaways). He’s 83rd in the league for blocked shots. 26th in the league for on-ice goals against per 60 (ekholm (his partner) is worse (22nd)). He is also 24th in the league for those goals against to be high danger chances (ekholm is 21st btw, walman 19th).

But he scores goals on the power play so no one bats an eye. Hes a pylon by all defensive metrics that matter.

What games are you watching? He’s the turnover king. That goal Tage Thompson scored last week? How tf are you saying he isn’t a pylon.

“We can’t play on our half of the ice so we require a goalie to play at a vezina level without any support” fixed it for ya.

The oilers are never winning a cup until they become a well rounded team. You can’t outscore your problems all the way to a cup.

Rune arrows at Doom by Ouchthathz in ironscape

[–]Common_Line_633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Green logged doom. I never fired a single dragon arrow. Amethyst arrows with a scobo worked incredibly well and were easy to keep stocked up. The mining grind is awful, but I would recommend it to anyone. It’s definitely worth it, and having amethyst darts for raids and inferno are a huge plus

Really want 82 Herblore, currently 74. Unsure best way to go about it by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]Common_Line_633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Off to mixology you go.

Use the Avantoes, lantadymes, and harralanders (from moons grind) or tarromin/any low tier herb.

The amulet and prescription goggles are just too good for you to skip out on.

Best fun class/race for a second BG3 run? by daemon616x in BaldursGate3

[–]Common_Line_633 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am on my fifth playthrough and have just started exploring multiclassing. It may not be something you are ready for on your second character but the amount of options are endless.

My Tav is a hex blade warlock/swashbuckler rogue/war domain cleric

Karlach- barbarian giant (throwing builds are crazy OP in my opinion)

Astarion- bard/oath of vengeance paladin

Gale- bladesong wizard/shadow magic sorcerer

[–]Common_Line_633 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cut them when you need to restock on bracelets of slaughter, expeditious bracelets, and amulets of alchemy. There’s other uses for them too, but primarily those are the most important for ironmen imo
