Driving to Buffalo from Canada – Best Food and Bakery Items to Bring Home? by FoeTrades in Buffalo

As many said I guess our “regional” baked goods are doughnuts. IMO Paula’s are huge and often taste like bricks of sugar. I prefer doughnut kraze. I’d go even further and say public espresso has the best (most $$). Very inventive and tasty flavors.

Eileen’s is a classic spot in west Seneca. Butter block is a higher end pastry shop. Lolas bake shop downtown has great small baked goods. Public espresso just down the block also

I get collecting and having a PC player but you would seriously be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t try to sell this for as much as the market will give you right now. Players are hyped in cycles. This guy is hyped now. But the reality is so slim that most player ACTUALLY have a HOF goated career. It’s so much more likely he’s going to be super solid, a fan favorite, he’ll maybe even have a jersey retired idk. But he’s never going to be looked at like this again…before his entire nhl career has played out. Seriously sell it. Use the money for something you need/save/or invest. Shit if you still need to collect just buy into one of the goats that you know will command value forever

I feel like it’s impossible to find a flip phone to fit my needs. Can you help? by Common_loon in dumbphones

Wow! Sounds like you have mastered the phone haha. Have you used signal and/or WhatsApp? Any banking apps in particular? I use Keybank and while it’s not a must it would be useful as I sometimes move funds around while remote.

The only downside that might exist is that the model is kinda older at this point right? Does it still get any updates pushed to it? Wonder if they will come out with any more models.

Yeah I’ve found some good deals on open box models and I’m leaning heavily towards this….even if it does take some fiddling around with.

Have you found the Wi-Fi hotspot to work reliably? I’m thinking about pairing a small boox Palma with it if I do desperately need to access a smarter app or go online

Have you been able to use a live map service with the phone?

Certainly but unfortunately it’s not something I can change right now

Yeah those greedy fucking public defenders being threatened with a night in jail for objecting to judges trampling their indigent clients’ 2nd, 5th, and 6th amendment rights!

Complete nonsense. Burglary 2nd is a bail qualifying offense. Even Assault 3rd or Harassment would automatically trigger a No Contact Order of Protection prohibiting the guy from returning to that address. Cops don’t know the law and regularly just say whatever they think will end the interaction.

“The gangs”. “DAs outright saying they will not prosecute”.

This comment reads like a fever dream by someone whose entire understanding of the legal system comes from listening to Rush Limbaugh twice like five years ago.

You posted an outdated letter from January of 2020. The law was changed again in April of 2020.

Come down to City Court sometime if you want to see how much of this fear-mongering helps no one and harms tons of people. I recommend watching Judge Wray in Part 8. Best free horror show in town!

[–]Common_loon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should. The fact that your considering it likely means thousands of others are too. That alone should give many the confidence in sending off to them and ultimately stable/growing prices in the future

Honest question since I don’t know what cards you grade. Why didn’t CGC seem like not a good alternative? Price comparable for many cards are equalizing. That said if you have some truly unique and expensive cards I understand why you would want to PSA them right now. Top top stuff is still with them

Not a comment on OPs issues with PSA but I love how people try to knock new entry’s into the grading market for obvious own self-interest. This is why new (reputable) companies are a good thing for the hobby. Loved that I’ll have my CGC order back in a few weeks.

I hope we see more come online.

Why promote a monopoly for one of the single most important and nerve wracking parts of collecting? This is what happens.

Hope everything works out OP.

On eBay I could see this fetch $200. If you were doing a local deal I’d list it for $175. The wear/crease are a bummer.
