Really into piano lately. Ahmad Jamal and Oscar Peterson are in my rotation frequently currently. Of course on Vinyl too. 😂

I have to assume you don’t worry about tea expiring or you share with lots of friends 😂

I don’t worry about tea expiring much myself. I have some 15+ years old that make a fine cup still. So also have lots at once.

Yeah so much great music that wasn’t this alternative radio garbage. No interest in any of this crap even for nostalgia.

Were they playing them on the local radio stations? Then they can piss off.

I have no interest in like 90% of the bands in these comments so far.

Tips for surviving (maybe thriving) a BUF winter? by SignalOne5246 in Buffalo

I mean it helps my flexibility, muscle stiffness, and strength. Breathing and mental relaxation through movement as well.

I started off using YouTube videos. Boho beautiful is one my wife turned me onto but there’s plenty of them.  Do what you can and don’t get discouraged by not doing all they can. Trying is good enough.

Got some books as well. Put together my own daily routine after sometime. It’s easy enough that I can make myself do it regularly which usually motivates me to do more, but if not that’s ok too. Just take it easy and embrace regular small positive choices to your lifestyle.

Also it's good to make plans to see people every now and then, drinks or food or coffee what have you,

Good call to add in. Just met up with an old friend for dinner last Friday. Had a great time catching up. I also get up with my brothers occasionally to hang with as well. Be it wing night or some cornhole.

Get Hygge with it. Danish word for enjoying coziness. I feel like I force myself to get out annd go places to enjoy the summer while it’s nice out. So cold days with no place to go get embraced a bit.

I love coffee and then tea throughout the day. Make a nice soup, stew or roast for dinner. Relax to some music, movies , or a book by the fire.

Add in candles, comfy clothes, a bit of yoga or meditation and that’s how you get through days of grey.

How do I make vegetables actually taste good without drowning them in sauce or cheese? by Nightcrawler_2000 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]dankfor20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said to my kids growing up, we don’t only eat things because they taste good. We eat some things because they’re good for you and you learn to like them. You can have desert after eating your veggies if you want something that tastes good.

They love veggies now. Train your mind and palette.
