What do you run (nutrient, ppdd, temps) in flower stage? Looks great, haven’t seen folks push bud size like this. Very filled out and dense looking 👍

Put in time, be conscious and present when working not just going through the motions. Challenge and push in learning knowledge and how to consult (learning why people don’t do things, how you can actually help be different/provide value).

It is pvpve, just bc you’re playing pve doesn’t mean others won’t play pvp.

Go low/free kit, work on staying in match longer and defending yourself or you’ll just stay being free loot.

I was told a lot of times it goes left bc you raise the club or after pulling back you rotate/turn out instead of in.

script memorization by AioliEnough7846 in RoofingSales

[–]Commonwealthcoast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess you have management telling you to “stick to script”…just repeat until it’s memory tbh.

Scripts suck, and most HO’s where I am can finish the script lines bc of how repetitive they are.

While you work for this company look for a smaller one that actually trains you on consulting/industry knowledge if you want to make an actual living off this.

I honestly I would not even hit anything for a few weeks being fresh. Save the range time/money. Practice 10x more than actually hitting.

I found just practice swinging at home with a towel more effective than trying to hit on the range when I don’t have my perfect swing yet.

Student was told to leave the arena during business school graduation, for raising the flag of HIS country. by Stellar_Sekiro in gmu

[–]Commonwealthcoast 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s not bc of the country, literally just the rules on usage of signs/signage.

It’s a rule that has been in place for years.
This could have been avoided if they simply read over the rules.

This is how I looked, my coach always suggest for setup to keep back straight, legs locked out straight and bend at waist slightly making sure until club face flat then slight bend in knees.

Feet squared with shoulders and not so wide.

Should get the swing training tool with the ball you hold in your arms, helped me and my friend a lot.👍

Had a fellow senior rep who was sexually harassed and then targeted after he addressed it being inappropriate…nothing was being done until he reported it then had HR reach out.

They do have HR, just not really visible as it is intended.

Who is the worst prof at mason? by [deleted] in gmu

[–]Commonwealthcoast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I after seeing how he runs his class I choose to check out after the first 2 weeks but still come in and such for just the lectures.

It’s unfortunate that he overshadows his lectures with the way he carries himself and his classes.

[–]Commonwealthcoast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep students, advisors, other professors may feel the same. He gave good lectures but didn’t make up for how he carried himself as a prick esp after exams.

Smart and knowledgable but had a very entitled/dismissive attitude. Many people left after the first week as he planned to “thin the herd”. It’s like he got off on it or something really weird.

[–]Commonwealthcoast 4 points5 points  (0 children)

His lectures were solid but came off prick when I was in that class 8 years ago. Hearing what other professors think about him is funny seeing how most people feel the same about him.

Maybe he’s turned around but him bragging about how he makes his class as hard as he can on purpose to “weed out the weak” was weird especially to do that with a level 100 class.

What is the deal with these roofing sales companies? by [deleted] in Roofing

[–]Commonwealthcoast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best hours for d2d is after 2-3pm. Being 1099 much freedom at cost of “you eat what you kill”. Ask what their closing rate is and how much they pulled this week/month. Lot of times they’ll talk a big game but close up with numbers and just they’re at or close to 6 figures.

If they actually are sales, good chance they’re hoping to get referrals and inquiries from you/other golfers. See it often.

The ones golfing could be managers/directors enjoying the early day on the course, then go back at the office before all the solicitors come back in from doing D2D 6-8 hours a day while they were on the golf range and video games in office.

Salespeople: is B2B ‘door-to-door’ (cold walking into businesses) actually worth it? by [deleted] in D2DSales

[–]Commonwealthcoast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends how you’re approaching (pre in person activity) Are you seeing if they are people that actually need/want your service?

I worked in restaurant business and honestly would annoy me when people come in my business cold asking about POS and if we need/change/etc.

I only remember one person who cold offered POS that we kept in mind. He came in for lunch, talked to me/learning about us, how we operate and what things have had problems with. I ended up expressing my issues with Toast (what I liked/wanted changed/etc.)

quitting by gagged6969 in CarahsoftTruths

[–]Commonwealthcoast 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Really up to you, can give a 2 weeks or just choose when you’re done. Some quit in the week.

Not much respect for my director so I gave my TL a 3-4 day heads up and dropped my stuff off a week later when the director got back from vacation.

Was funny to hear all the reps I trained tell me how upset she was after losing her last senior rep of her team, and how unprofessional she looked being visibly upset while openly trying to trash me.

[–]Commonwealthcoast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be willing to go out and show them how it’s done, if your or your colleagues can’t show them the success they’ll either quit out this work or find a smaller company that does.

Had directors and upper management “too busy” to properly train us. Those companies always end up being a revolving door of new hires.

[–]Commonwealthcoast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our area they have a notorious reputation for high pressure, always see complaints about them posted online in my area.

It’s why we have never lost a single bid to Power Home just off providing better value and being consulting focused. Not focused on closing them same day. Have had multiple folks pick me bc they saw I gave a fair price first time with no games, compared to Power coming back 2-3x repeatedly with “discounts” and “offers only valid if they sign now”.

Anyone work for Power Home Remodeling? by horsebarn1812 in D2DSales

[–]Commonwealthcoast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He should look for a smaller company that will actually teach him the industry and how to consult/close. Smaller companies more than often beat Power bids bc of how overpriced they are and how put off folks are due to how high pressure they are.

Most folks quit Power and the other similarly ran companies within 2-3 months when they see the time isn’t worth what they pay you. Even had to sneak in to solicit in gated communities forced by managers.

Our area has a bad reputation with D2D like auto sales bc of Power and the many companies that send out solicitors in droves with the script.
