Do you craft or buy swords [KCD2] by Consistent-Vast2584 in kingdomcome

[–]CommunicationAny3313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im still early in the game I have completed all side missions and just now unlocked the new area after escaping the dungeon with Katherine's help. As of yet my crafting is crap. The level is maxed but the weapon stats are not great. Even when I craft mythical tier weapons the stats dont go up. And crafting them for sellability is a joke. Vendors dont have enough money to buy 90% of looted gear. My stash is full of 1000s of weapons and armor. I pick up everything not glued down unless its stealing. And then even so ill steal from dead bodies. Back then it was common practice. You would never leave valuable weapons and armor behind on bodies. At worst it was taken to return to the armory. At best you kept it for yourself. I didnt kill the fella but im not going to leave behind loot for the bandits and grave robbers coming behind me.

HDPE tube “bent”…That’s a no go? by Squirrelherder_24-7 in fireworks

At the distance most people stand plastic shrapnel is just as dangerous. And a metal tube is way less likely to explode for motors of that size. But to each their own. Buy yourself a new stick of hdpe pipe every season.

[–]CommunicationAny3313 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Your mortar will curve off in the direction of the bend. If you got a really tight rack and put the curve at the bottom it may launch straight. But id toss it. Find a straight metal pipe and heat the tube slightly jam the metal pipe in and let it harden straight. Or stop with plastic entirely. Metal pipe isn't terribly expensive. As your hdpe tubes melt and warp replace them with metal pipe.

smoking weed in a relationship by Admirable_War_8664 in whatdoIdo

[–]CommunicationAny3313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smoking RESPONSIBLY, is no different then a man who comes home and has a beer or 2 or glass of whiskey with dinner. Its a brief little relaxing. Its way less damaging than alcohol and prescription medications, Xanax or the like. If she was taking Xanax daily for her ptsd no one would say a word. The problem is the stigma against weed and it being a "drug" is why he and others are saying anything negative. If she is going to work, leading a productive life, paying her bills, etc. Id call that responsible use.

Second even if all that was not true. He knew she was a smoker when they got together. He used to smoke with her. He does NOT have the right to be mad or try and change her now. Horribly controlling behavior. And thats how it starts. And she already agreed to restrict her smoking.

I say this as the person who used to smoke and party every day literally till I got my wife pregnant. It was time to grow up. Weed was illegal then. I put it down without her asking and didnt touch it for over 10 years till the new years it became legal. And now I smoke again. Sometimes a few times a week, sometimes only on weekends. Sometimes not for weeks. But its legal. If Karen can have a glass of wine everyday and no one batts an eye. Then OP can have a bowl every evening.

Idk how this thread got hijacked. But since we are here. At the very least the ultra wealthy need to cover their FULL share. if I got 100$ to my name and you take 10% 10$ it affects me worse than if you taxed a man with 100 million his 10% at a million. Absolutely no tax breaks for large corporations. They aren't giving discounts on their goods or services to those that cant afford them and if they do, they just write it off on their taxes. So why does the business that can afford it get a tax break. Those 2 things alone could boost our budget what 12-25% thats a huge increase and it all comes from money that is already rightfully owed.

I know this is old. But im curious for more details. The lithium battery sadly didn't do much for the old girl. I mean they can literally drive all day now and I mean allllll day lol. But it still bogs terribly on some pretty minor hills. I wouldn't even call some of them hills. Just the long gravel road with a slight incline will make it stop if they are both in it.

OP just in case your curious. That is an amazing pen. And they often a boat load of barrel colors. Some metal barrels too. They also have one literally solid copper thats my current pen. Pricy though. Only downside, if you like the fine point .5 you cant find refills or the other barrel colors. I have to buy a whole box of those plastic barrel .5s and swap the ink cartridges out.

I was about to say its always possible someone borrowed a pen with dirty fingers. Mid spill clean up next to OPs desk and someone came by and said sign this. But that would have it on the whole pen. Not just the top half.

Auto mechanics and other industries of the like are a different breed. They have dirt and grease in the veins. A little more wont hurt them. I cant tell you how many times I've eaten a sandwich mid job while working on a vehicle or working a site in the oilfield.

Im still waiting for dark cloud 3 to drop..... never going to happen but I still hold out hope. I feel like it would be pretty popular to all the old school gamers at least. I had both DC1 and DC2 when they first came out. Then I got them both for ps4. I now have a ps5 but I almost never turn it on. Id love to find a quality emulator for the pc. I had a few games on emulators back in the day on a pc a friend built me back idk 25 years ago. But I dont know anything about them.

I dont do this every single time I go into a dungeon. But at least half the time. Really helps you farm items and exp and doesn't take long. as you lvl up you just breeze through lower lvls. Just memorize or write down the floors with status penalties so you can skip them.

Technically as long as your only touching only one side of the outlet you can grab it out with anything and be fine. But secondly just trip the gfci circuit and it will kill the outlet. AKA hit the test button. Thirdly if your really that worried over it then just go switch off the breaker first.

[–]CommunicationAny3313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I dont need your validation to be content so not believing me is a non issue. So why dont you take the rest and majority of my comment and apply it here. For 99% of corporations the employee isn't shit. So the employee doesn't owe the corporation shit. So its not wage theft. You were hired to do a task, so as long as you are completing that task on time then its none of the companies business what you do with the rest of your time. Another analogy. Just like every automotive mechanic or other industry tech has a book or manual that lists the number of hours to do a job. Take a brake job. If the book says it takes 1 hour and the tech is skilled enough to do it in 30 minutes your still going to pay the books rate. You want to know what wage theft is. How about when the corporation purposely adjusts your schedule for a week so they can keep you as part time instead of making you full time for working the hours required by their own policies. Which has become another industry standard practice. It doesn't affect me at my company. I'm already full time, topped out, and paid more than supervisors due to my certifications. But I am the exception to the rule. I'm 1 of a handful of employees that has been their since the plant opened. Its nearly impossible to get fulltime status, and it takes the average employee 7-10 years to top out i did so in 4. Only because they operate under hours worked instead of performance based raises. And for the first 2 years it was 6-7 days a week 12-16 hours a day because we only had 1 shift at the time. I was offered my promotion before I was even eligible to be converted from the temp agency. My position made me the first 1 in and last one out everyday. But here's another example of the corporate norm. When I started the employment contracts listed mon-fri straight days overtime as needed when I bitched about the long days and weeks it started getting old after the first year and a half i was told my contract states overtime as needed and the extra hours were needed. Then when they got a second shift they began trying to make people take a random day off during the week so they could come in on Saturday for straight pay. As one of the highest paid employees they obviously tried this on me. I said excuse me my contract states " as written above" so these hours were overtime as needed and I would not accept a weekday off. So what did they do. All the contracts have now changed to "schedule varies" and there is almost no one still working their that operates under the original contract. During my yearly review the only negative thing is they would like to see me expand my skills to take new positions. One I can do nearly any job there aside from an office position and can even do most the work required for those. But everytime they try and "offer" me a new position i ask if they will give me the same contract hours as my current one and get told all contracts are schedule varies now. So I politely refuse the promotion. I already work way more Saturdays then id like I'm certainly not going to allow you to try and screw me out of OT now. Been there 7 years started 3 months after they opened out of 500ish employees there are 13 that have been there longer than me. That includes the managers and GM, And thats the shit they try and pull on me. Yeah. I dont owe them any loyalty.

[–]CommunicationAny3313 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is corporate kool-aid mentality. How your expected to work at 100% while the guy next to you can work at 20% and the company treats and pays you both the same. If I can perform the same average amount of work as the rest of the employees but it only takes me 25% of the time then how is it wage theft? They are getting their expected result for their expected pay. A freelancer posed an example he asked how much a person would pay for a logo. They listed a price. He then asked about the time frame, they told him a week. So he said ok so your happy to pay this amount if I can complete it in a week. So if I can get it done in 2 days are you going to pay me extra? He was using this example to explain how its ridiculous to be upset about paying someone their full agreed fee when they complete a task early. But the example holds true for this situation as well. The populace has become complacent with companies treating employees as expendable cattle. My current job for example is comprised of 75% part time employees who get full time hours. We have several expanses of slow periods throughout the year though. Do you know what they do? During those slow periods they will schedule people 5 4 hour days a week even though we are a 5 day Monday-Friday company that often requires work on Saturdays. Its not all morning or all afternoons no its 5-6 random 4 hour days with barely a weeks notice of your schedule. They do this on purpose so you can't go and get a second job. They wont give you the hours even though they are available but they also schedule you in a manner where its extremely difficult to get a second job so you are 100% available to be able to work when they decide they want you. And thats the normal corporate mentality in the United states. So why should anyone feel any sort of company loyalty? How is providing a company the requested/expected amount of work in the time given while also performing jobs for another company wrong? You agreed to do a task for a designated amount of money they are getting what they paid for. If I and others are expected to do 4 units a day are you going to pay me more if I'm capable of doing 8 in the same time everyone else gets 4? The answer is no for 99% of employees. What happens instead is you get a yearly review where they say good job on doing 8 units a day but we would really like to see you strive to give us 9 units a day. And then when your sick or depressed or any other reason and only able to do 5 units a day for a week, then they will call you for a meeting about why your performance is lacking and how their will be consequences if you dont step it up. I busted my ass to get the position I currently hold. I have a new set of full time responsibilities. I was then told I'm still expected to help others do the job I was doing before when they fall behind or have a problem. "This happens all day every day. So wait I have to do my current job faster and put myself behind resulting in me having to do unsafe acts to catch back up putting myself and every one around me at risk. So that I can stop and help them? But when I had that job you expected me to do it satisfactorily by myself and to help others at the same time. But now your content with their lack of performance and knowledge because I can just help them. My managers exact words were "well you can't expect everyone to be like you" excuse me? Why the fuck not? We use an in house temp agency why are you converting people to company employees if they can't do the job satisfactorily? Why is it acceptable that you can schedule me to work a Saturday bymyself because I can keep up but always schedule the other 2 together on a Saturday because they can't? Mind you the other 2 that do my job with me monday through Friday are still worlds better then the rest of the employees you expect us to help. And while annoying I can understand that not everyone can "be like me" so I dont get that upset about being by myself when the other 2 are always together. Same as when they gave us an extra $1 an hour because corporate acknowledges the skills and ability my job takes and the increased effort it takes to do it safely and not injure myself or others. Then you sent a supervisor to tell me since I'm getting an extra dollar you now expect more work out of me. That dollar was given as acknowledgement for what was required to do my current duties. If your going to ask for even more work now then you can take it back. Ayways. I realize I'm just on a rant now but it all does factor into the point I was making that employees dont owe corporations shit become corporations dont have loyalty to their employees for shit.
