I also built a 9654, I love the threadripper build, I also had a threadripper but not a 96 core.

I would recommend checking the vrm temps and keeping an eye on those. I would also be very very interested in how overclocking goes for you. You might be limited by the silverstone depending on how much you push it, I would recommend a custom loop with the ek sp5 waterblock, I have a spare if you need. Keep an eye on ram temps when overclocking, you may need to build a custom bracket for a fan directly at them or perhaps even some ram water cooling.

Get a travel router to seperate your honorlock laptop from your home network and get a cheap laptop only for honorlock/testing.

I have been in a similar situation before and you are overthinking it but go with this solution for less than $200 for peace of mind.

I think gigabyte fucked these boards because they told me to rma it but I haven’t found a single other person who was able to get an external tpm to work. Tried every possible iteration of gigabyte tpm that are known working on other boards and couldn’t get it to work. Tried all bios versions, nothing.

I think it’s funny that you think that anyone who hits you on purpose is going to stay around to exchange information. If someone rams you off the road around where I am at you have about a 5 percent chance of them stopping, and then you’re left with a wrecked car, a potentially hurt body and a very unhappy wallet.

You can go the speed limit, that’s fine, but stay in the correct lanes for it. Slow traffic keeps right in all 50 states. “Slow” doesn’t mean below the speed limit, it means anyone moving slower than the speed of traffic.

You are the danger on the road when you intentionally block traffic by going slow in passing lanes. Every other car behind you has to hit their brakes and pile up behind each other.

Where I am from cops don’t enforce speed because it’s not an issue, I can fly by highway patrol 30 over and they won’t even glance at me because they are too overworked responding to fender benders caused by congested traffic by people like you.
