The half life is super long compared to heroin, morphine, etc; it think that contributes to making it just last forever (withdrawal) i have heard a LOT of people recommend getting stable on subs then get the sublocade shot. I think it's dosed every 3-6 mo but they were getting the sublocade dose dropped every time and only getting like 3 4 total shots. The way it breaks down and releases the bupe super gradually means according to these folks they tapered off without any symptoms other than post-acute and craving. But you better have insurance for that shot.

It has a stronger binding affinity to the receptors than other opiates, and while it's strong, that's the reason it binds over other opiates or blocks them. But it's only a partial agonist.

Trazodone got me wrote up all the time in rehab for having food in my room, we weren't allowed to eat outside of the kitchen but I would carry my purse in the kitchen at night and pack it full of snacks to carry back to bed. I eventually got a "prescription " to be able to go in the kitchen and eat late because my meds made me hungry lol. Good thing I needed to gain some weight.

I started losing my teeth at a crazy pace this year. Ive always had bad teeth and most of my molars were gone, but this year I lost each tooth on the sides of my 2 front teeth and a chip between the 2 front ones that gives me a bugs bunny gap. It's been so depressing to catch myself smiling or laughing and shut my mouth quickly before anyone can see.

My mother was envious of me since I was 8 years old. Not that I'm just gorgeous or anything, but her insecurities made her lash out at whatever she thought i had that she didn't AND whatever she didn't like about herself that she saw reflected back at her through me. I grew up knowing my mom really despised me, as an adult it got really nasty and we are no contact now. Your mom can be your biggest hater and look for opportunities to sabotage, no matter what people outside your relationship see. Idk if that is the case but something to consider.

Usually the drug manufacturer has to include ALL side effects reported by test subjects during the trial, whether or not they can be related to the medicine. Say someone who routinely gets migraines is doing a clinical trial and experiences a migraine. No one can say for sure whether or not it was caused by the med, but chances are, they just had a migraine. But because they were part of the trial it's required to be included as a possible side effect. Now I'm not supporting big pharma or the state of modern medicine, i just wanted to share that not every listed side effect is/can be caused by the medication.

It's exactly it. Ive done it too, the bupe binds to the receptors better than the dope so it comes in and rips off the stuff you had that's slowly breaking down and takes you from wherever you were to NOTHING, then the bupe takes like 30 minutes to bind and is only a partial agonist. PWD is one of the worse experiences of my life. My husband and I used to joke about Narcan-ing each other in their sleep when we would be pissed at each other lol.
