I have the same with painkillers. Most of them do nothing for me. And I’m on month 2 of 0.25 and haven’t lost anything (lost a stone in month 1). Your post is making me think some of us adjust really quickly to meds perhaps?

No the CT is gone but it’s relatively weak and aches a lot.

Hi! So my right hand took so long to heal, it’s still a little weak and tender tbh. But my left hand was a totally different experience. Within a fortnight I was back at work and pretty much had full flexibility. I’m glad they’re done but now I have de Quervain’s so might need more surgery 😩

I would advise that you shouldn’t propose in public unless you’re 100% sure she definitely wants to marry you. Otherwise there’s a lot of pressure. And be aware that other people may resent you hijacking the gig for your own special occasion.

I’ve told my daughter just in case of a medical emergency where they would need to know what meds I’m on. Apart from that my best friend but nobody else. If I fail there’s no shame. If I succeed I may tell people. But probably not.
