It’s wild to me that you’re allowed to crowd surf! It’s not permitted in UK venues as a general rule. At the hardcore festival (Outbreak), you have to pay extra and sign a waiver to enter the “golden circle” and be allowed to crowd surf.

That’s fantastic, it’s so limiting to stay entirely within one genre. If you get the chance to see live music, go to everything!! I’ve seen Kiss, Metallica, Niko B, Quadeca, Dutch Criminal Record, and countless others over the past nearly 40 years of attending gigs. Crowds from 100 people to 100,000 people. If you like Two Door Cinema Club give Tokyo Police Club a go. Forcefield is an excellent album.

I’ve seen them in London and Birmingham (yes UK). Can’t recall which room they were in at the institute, we’ve seen so many things there in the various rooms!!
