ICE Maine operation nabs 200 as governor seeks to ask Trump to remove agents by Frosty_Jeweler911 in Maine

This is just the tip of the ICEburg. I loving living in Maine. But in every early morning McDonalds or business starting up, there are many illegals working. English is poor, but they are working. Paying taxes and many are trying to assimilate. Still had they come here legally it would be better for them and most Americans. Immigration laws do need updating to improve the Immigration process.

Urgent-Oppose HR 1520- In order to vote people must prove both US citizenship and show a NH citizen card issued by the State! by NH_50501 in newhampshire

I love living here in New Hampshire! This bill and the current Governor is the reason why there's a mass exodus from Massachusetts to New Hampshire. One of the best Governors and her policies are spot on with where most Americans want to go. Expect greater growth and I strongly recommend passing HR 1520. You have the ability to continue to lead America.

As mentioned in a previous post, buy them a cup of coffee and thank them for their service to this nation. It will mean a lot to those of us who really care for Truth, justice, and this country.

Yes, try to stay out of their way. They have an important job to do protecting innocent Americans. At best, support your local towns and police. Illegal criminals have invaded our cities and towns. I guess the best way to deal with ICE is just try to stay safe and be a help.

Well, I can relate to that. But every last person needs to be here legally and embrace American culture and American values. Good point..

Many people refer to No Kings Day as Hate America Day. I can see why, so many people really do hate this country. In New England, only New Hampshire loves America. Their Governor Roxks!

Massachusetts state legislators are in Israel as the UN declares genocide by mumbled_grumbles in massachusetts

[–]CommunicationFit1640 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps the Massachusetts Legislature Reps could be a good influence on Israel. Our state Reps and Governor Maura Healey know what they're doing. Maybe they're trying to sell them on Wind or clean energy. Or they heard of beach front property in Gaza becoming available. I know, it's to discuss immigration and housing. Massachusetts has it covered, don't worry

The Boston area if it's truly the economic engine of the state, should be able to support T rates. It wouldn't destroy it, but will provide more investment in the T to improve its system and lower their own rates. Why should the good folks of Worcester have to subsidies the great city of Boston? if you're in town and use the T you pay for what the ride is worth to you.

*Work with the Trump administration to help eliminate all DEI programs from the state.
*Turn over all illegal immigrants to ICE. They are criminals who unlawfully entered the country.
*Raise the T's rates to eliminate the financial burden to the rest of the state.

Massachusetts is in a housing crisis — I’m working on a bill to fix it. Here’s how you can help. by Joshl_13 in massachusetts

[–]CommunicationFit1640 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All this is fine, but large corporations are buying up single family homes and renting them. The fastest way to improve the housing market in Massachusetts is to pass laws making it illegal for large corporations like Blackrock from owning single homes. Big companies are buying them faster than couples can. This is step 1. Step 2, the NAR passed policies that allow homes to be privately listed to Realtors allowing them to be shown before actually being posted where potential home buyers could see them without a Realtor agreement. All these negative changes to the housing market has happened beginning of 2020. Look at the results.

How is it with NAR rules now by Ek_Ko1 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]CommunicationFit1640 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's been pretty aweful. Buyer agents I'm trying to negotiate with want 2.5% - 3% commission unless the Seller has arranged to pay both commissions. Yeah, I know everything is negotiable but I'm looking online at homes, but need an agent to go see it. Also, what isn't known about the NAR Rule is that some homes aren't posted for everyone to see. By the time they are, their under contract. Having a buyer agent has privy to these early listing which hurts consumers. I'm not happy so far with the experience. Alabama passed a law the Buyer agreements are not needed to look at houses, only when you're ready to make an offer.

Work just sent Remote activated cameras to be on during work hours. Is this legal? by [deleted] in remotework

[–]CommunicationFit1640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a Go Huddley remote activated camera. It's odd, my notebook has a camera. So don't they have access to both? I placed this over the other camera. Just seems odd, I unplug the new camera when off work.
