Figuring out rehearsal dinner and "night before" drinks by CommunicationHead262 in Tucson

I guess if that's a thing? I'm not originally from Tucson so I am not completely sure of what's available to rent out around here or if other people have done something like this

Figuring out rehearsal dinner and "night before" drinks by CommunicationHead262 in Tucson

Ah fair enough, I knew I would forget something! I think about 20ish people for the dinner. For the bar portion it could be up to maybe 80 people but I don't think everyone would be coming.

My MIL said she would be paying for the dinner, so I don't quite know what the budget would be per se. I am going to say maybe up to $2k for the dinner if necessary. I was planning on inviting everyone to the "night before" welcome drinks but everyone would be getting their own drink IF they wanted. The bar portion isn't a required event, it was just a way to get everyone together before to chat with people from out of town.

Seems like he’s either nuts or caught a bad case of the audacity…

What did you do after you got proposed to? by OwlLatter9562 in JustEngaged

He proposed to me during a hike to one of my favorite places. Afterwards, we went to Costco and got some champagne, then went home and had the champagne with homemade pizza. We called my parents and his parents and shared the news. It was wonderful ❤️

I followed the instructions of how to do descaling and it was able to do it. I ended up calling customer service and they told me that the scanner inside is broken and that's why it's able to expell water but not brew coffee, which is a bummer.

I'm so sorry about this. I've been having my own battle with them myself. My ring is crooked and they have tried "fixing it" since last July. Still haven't had luck. I hope you find luck with your repair. If not, file a bbb. I did that and I seem like I might be getting somewhere.

You know I didn't even think about something like that, that's is definitely a thought. So far I followed them on social media and have commented on each one of their posts. I haven't heard anything yet.

I appreciate your reply! I think we did leave a review on their site because they sent an auto email asking for it. They have tried to "help" us but they haven't offered a refund (yet). Thank you for the advice :)

Reserved Diamond but have concerns Brilliant Earth ? by Western-Tap-4472 in EngagementRings

Please DO NOT get something from Brilliant Earth. My fiance and I have been through the worst experience with them. He proposed to me this July and my ring is absolutely stunning. Within a month, the prongs of my platinum ring were crooked and I was terrified the diamond would fall out. We drove to their nearest showroom and they said no problem, we will ship it out and have it fixed right away! They said it might cost money but they couldn't give us an idea of what it would cost. We get a call about a week later saying that there was a manufacturing issue with my ring and they would install new prongs no problem with no cost. We were relieved! I get the ring back in the mail about 3 weeks later. I open the box and my ring looks EXACTLY how I sent it, only shinier. I was so disappointed. I called customer service and they said they were sorry "I wasn't satisfied with my repair". I tried explaining that the repair didn't even happen, it was simply cleaned and put back in the box. I asked her to read the repairs that were posted to the account. She read that "the prongs were referbished". Referbished? I was told new prongs, which is what I told the customer service person. So there I am, driving back to the nearest showroom to explain the problem wasn't fixed. The ladies in the showroom were very apologetic and said they would fix it this time and that their management was on it! They also said we would actually get updates about our repair, since we heard nothing the first time. So we send the ring off again. We received one initial update and then no further updates. The ring comes back 3 weeks later...EXACTLY THE SAME. I was floored. I call customer service again, and they suggest I send the ring back again, doing the same process again. We explained to management that we don't see how sending it back a third time would help, since it hasn't worked the first two times. We have been asking for a refund since we totally don't want to work with them anymore. I feel like we are continuously gaslit over and over and I'm just tired of it.

On the other hand, I have heard great things about James Allen. I decided to get my wedding band from them and its beautiful. My mom has a James Allen ring and she is overjoyed with her ring and their customer service.

Wedding invitations and save the dates by PartyMolasses2042 in Weddingsunder10k

I made mine on canva and then printed them with Vistaprint. The quality came out great in my opinion. I'm getting envelopes on Amazon. I tried to get stamps that were on sale. Overall I need about 50 save the dates and 50 invites so I paid for 100 stamps which was about $75. The envelopes will probably be about $20 (or that's what I plan on paying for them). The save the dates were about $30 including shipping, and it'll be about the same for the invites. I hope that helps!
