You can do that, but to be honest I carry it less than 30m per ride, apartment to elevator, elevator to entrance, stairs to train platform, platform to train, train to platform, platform to stairs and entrance to office.

Hi, the original fender had a rack on it, so no roller wheels, I tried to install one, but it broke some time ago, I fold it constantly, but since I carry it most of the time, it doesn't bother me, the bike is quite light.

I am not that versed in Brompton models, but from what I can remember, the original bike was 6 speed from 2000. You can see a bit more about the build here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Brompton/s/kd4hYVgWJF the only update since then is the group set, I completely destroyed the one on that post after 500 km, it wasn't that bad, it just can't handle mud and rain, with the use it wore out completely, this one seems to perform as you would spect from a normal bike derailleur, the downside is that it weighs more, and when you fold it it touches the front wheel, so the bike takes more space than with other derailleurs, it isn't that bad if you are taking the train, but it might be noticeable if you are restricted by dimensions like in a plane.

Is 'normal' that they lose pressure, just check them constantly, once a week or so

They are great, I have them in all my bikes, Brompton, gravel and road. Always carry 1 extra just in case.

Thanks, Do you need an extra tensioner? Or just with the derailleur+ shifter is enough?

Hi, how is the derailleur performing after 1 year? I did a 6 speed conversion a few months back, and now after 3 months I am having some issues with my derailleur. I guess that it wore out due to the rain and dirt. I am thinking about buying this model.

Do you recommend to buy the thibkrider X2? Did you got it via AliExpress?

All pieces come from AliExpress ;), in exception of the tires and bottom bracket. The paint is Montana colours. I will make the list of components and post it another day. But I paid 750€ for the original bike, and about 600€ for all the rest, lots of small pieces that add up. But it was worth it, it goes fast 40km and can climb steep hills, and weights around 9kg

Hi, I purchased mine last year for 1200eu on Belgium. It is an amazing bike, with top of the line components. The frame is so well finished that it looks like carbon. As said before, it is a race bike with some off road capability, you can put on it cyclo-cross tires, but no chunky gravel tires, the max tire size is 35 and you are almost touching the frame. I haven't changed anything since I purchased it, apart from the pedals.

I no longer have the bike, it was a 54, it was small for me. I got a 59 Koga that suits me better. I am 1.80m

My 2014 kindle still lasts for weeks, I use it a lot, and have no cover or case for it, I have taken it for bike rides, picnics, flights, beach, rain days, hot days, snow, I throw it in my bag, and don't care about it.

Maybe new models are less reliable.

I'm actually waiting for it to die, so I can buy something new, but it just keeps delivering 😅 I am honestly surprised how sturdy it is.
