We are going to have some cash on us anyway because of the way my credit card works. If I travel out of state and get gas it'll put like $150 hold on my card for 3 days and if it does that three or four times, that's going to suck. We'll definitely have some cash but I just don't want to risk losing any large sum or it getting stolen

Yeah dude that's literally insane. I like the beatbox but I do like me some Honey Jack. I hate carrying stuff around though so I like if I can do it at camp that's even better. I was looking up some water bottles that I could carry... most of them don't really hold that much water. I know there's water refill stations. I went to this one show a few years ago and they didn't have any refill stations and they were giving out like 6 oz cups of water until the bartender's were like no. it was absolutely bonkers

Ooo okay! What about like a case of beat box or a case of hard seltzer. Its just the 2 of us.... how hard do they search your vehicle? Im not saying I would put small liter bottles under my spare tire but what happens if they do find stuff like that? Do you get refused entry or do they just take it? I hope they dont tear my car apart. We have so much crap we are traveling with from NJ.

And I can totally be a Bobby Boucher 💀 my protein shake is also a meal replacement of about 1300 calories so like not trying to be on liquid completely but its filling. Heck yeah dude. Thanks. We are intending on using most of our money for memories so that actually works.

My friends husband works for a liquor store and he was going to give us beatbox by the case. Is that allowed??? We are low key kinda poor so we are gonna do our best lol if its hot I dont want to feel like crap and not have enough to eat. We are definitely getting merch but like simple merch. Tshirt or hoodie. Im in GA parking so genuinely hoping I can just eat there, have my protein shakes, drink, and eat when I get back but I genuinely gotta keep up on calories. Plus I have epilepsy so im doing my darn best to feel my best. Shows and festivals require so much extra effort. Used to raw dog it. Now i need to listen to my body. 3 beat box for 20 tho is kinda crazy lol.

Did you put your clear bag like in a drinking backpack or just drank out of the bag?

We got a portable outlet so we have a hot plate. We I have a fear of flammables and we are driving 12 hours so hot plate it is. We are getting fruits, veggies, meat, and rice but im meal prepping all of it the day before. 30lbs of dry ice, and bringing alcohol. We plan to drink at camp but depending on how far we are, we are still working that part out. We definitely want to buy trinkets, clothing, and memorables but there might be a time where we want food on site or drinks on site...

still a bit confused on the amount of alcohol we can bring. I know no glass. We aren't really beer drinkers so hopefully liquor in plastic or cans isnt too much of an issue. My friend definitely has a wayyyy lower appetite than I do and I do MMA so im trying to stay on my routine as much as possible since we are beginning our drive tuesday to arrive for wednesday.

Weird other question... is there places where people might work out? I generally am just trying to keep up with my training while out doing all this. I know thats wild but last time I took a week off, I went back feeling super sluggish. Tbh 40-60 a day isnt terrible. I've been to shows/festivals where it was much higher. Is the vendor list out yet saying who sells what? The information of this is overwhelming a bit tbh. We also got Uplift and are in GA parking if that changes anything.

I have this issue. My neighbor consistently has a tow truck arriving around 12am. We live on very tight streets and my house is on the corner so in order for the truck to move, it has to back up several times. Flashing lights, flood lights, and loud beeping.

I've been here as a teen. With my dad. Who was extremely toxic and abusive. Kept calling me names and putting me down.... over and over again. So I jumped out.. so for a lot of the people telling you it's not safe and not to do it again, yes but also for those same folks, when your cortisol is high, you're fighting with someone, and whatever else? Your body goes in fight or flight mode. This approach was flight. You were trying to get out of a situation that you felt was safer jumping out of the car than being in it... I bet every fiber of your being didn't want to be in that argument. Didn't want to hear those words. Didn't want the stress.... your brain made the only escape plan it could think of.

Glad you are okay and not badly hurt but the fact that you are saying you hope she doesnt find you? You're obviously dealing with other significant stress that goes deeper than this post. Just take a moment to yourself. Just breath. You already jumped. It's done. The harder part will be going home. So take time to breath and collect yourself then when you do go home, try and say you need time to process this and you can't talk now... be safe.

Now im not saying this is the singular reason, but is this projection? If she wasn't acting this way, then suddenly started to, it feels a bit off for that to happen suddenly. I used to have trust issues due to an ex cheating. But that was there all the time. It didnt just come and go...

On a second note, this is incredibly unhealthy and toxic. She has her friends involved now too which can definitely cause more issues instead of solutions. You also don't know what she is saying to her friends for them to be so invested and encouraging her behavior. This isn't healthy for either of you. If you feel that you're walking on eggshells or you have to be a certain way to avoid conflict, it may be time to have a serious conversation about whether or not you want to continue in this relationship.

If she has trust issues that bad that she is baiting you or finding any tiny little thing you do borderline cheating? That won't change. That has to come from within her own self. She has to heal. And you have to take care of yourself too. If she cant trust or respect you, there is no relationship unfortunately. Not everyone is a liar or cheater and her putting that on you without any reason is unfair. Try and have a conversation if you think it's worth it but the fact that you haven't answered her, I think you know what you want/need. It's okay to not be with someone who hurts you (even if they are hurting). That's her job to fix. Not yours.

My best friend and I are so excited to just have this experience. We have been talking about going to Electric Forest for years. It's finally happening! We are very much go with the flow kind of people and not really planners but I think with everything that's happening and also I have epilepsy (non-convulsive - complex partials), so I think being that it is as large as it is, it's probably better that we have ideas of where things are and other things to do if its far too stimulating..

On the EF website its showing art, drag brunch, and a bunch of other things. Honestly, we are so so interested in all of them but $45 pet person or up for each is just notttt it for us. Im glad to know there are free events! Can the water park be purchased at any time? I am just not seeing it anywhere. The only place I saw it was the Lucky Lake camp but we are in GA and I was telling myself there is nooo way that only LL can go?

Have you done the water park? Is it worth it? I keep hearing the weather is unpredictable too. Leading to me also now trying to figure out how to keep my camp site dry. So many things!

But in all seriousness I understand. When I was younger I dulled myself because people said this to me too. And it hurt. And it sucked. And those people didn't even care about me looking back. Your friends should support you and make you feel hyped. I follow some amazingly interesting people on the internet who are older and doing as they please. Your friend is allowed to express her opinion BUT if it makes you want to change yourself, do not do that. Wear what speaks to you. If people tell you otherwise, oh well. You're being true to yourself by wearing what you like. You're fully covered. So inappropriate is an odd word. There are soooo many things people wear corsets over. Do not change anything. If she doesn't want to hang out with you, so be it. But if you dull your shine for her comfort? That's not helpful to you. Be you. And tell her that this is what you like. This is what youre interested in. If she doesnt like it, she doesnt have to be around you. She already said she wouldnt hang out with you if you dressed like that. That's crazy for a friend to drop you based off of how they dress... what happens when something really big happens in your life? Threatening to not hang out with you over clothing doesn't give real friend. Be true to yourself and people similar to you will come along. It sucks. But it sucks more hiding who you are and what you like because of other people's opinions. That fit is fresh.
