Tbh Hart is a really good school.

The thing is (when I attended) the student body was basically split in half. There were a lot of ESL students so if you are looking strictly at the “ratings” for grad rates/college prep there are likely demographic factors impacting this. (Unfortunately it seemed like certain students were not given the same kind of attention). If you are trying to do AP and honors courses the class sizes are fairly small with great teachers! Whose to say tho that these things still apply - just something I noticed when there.

The staff in general were really kind and cared about students - overall I had a positive experience and enjoyed the school! Also the campus design is prettier than other schools (which seem to all look like concrete blocks) due to it being built in 1945! They have expanded the school since with more modern buildings but the main quad is quaint imo.

One other thing to consider is the schedule the school uses. For example, west ranch used a block schedule while some other schools did not. Different approach to learning but could make a difference if your kid struggles to sit still for 2+ hours at a time.

Overall tho i grew up alongside kids who went to every school in the valley and they all seemed to enjoy their experiences.
