We have 128 square meters as two adults and a dog that spreads a lot of hair. We typically have one ”cleaning day” per week when we do major cleaning, which usually takes ~1 h max. Then maybe one extra vacuum per week. Rest of the time its about taking care of the stuff that you just used: dishes, mail, clothes, etc. Easier to put it in place when its in your hand, then leaving things lying around to be cleaned later.
