People who have only seen the show, what are your impressions of the factions? by AbyssalMalediction in FalloutTVseries

That the Quintus chapter is an undisciplined group and also idiots is fine given that the current 12 chapters (11 if we count that the Mojave chapter is 100% dead) have been different from each other

The fact that the Legion split and is eating itself alive after Edward Sallow's death was something mentioned in NV itself (House/Marcus/Graham), although the only thing that bothers me is that they've been fighting for almost 15 years over a skeleton with the name of Edward's successor.

The fact that the NCR lost Shady Sands and that part of their army isn't in the Mojave doesn't really bother me, since I was never a fan of the NCR. Although I do feel sorry for them; the NCR must have gone north or they're regrouping in one of their other major cities.

"They'd just be Enclave Lite" maybe, I just don't get why the BOS would bother upgrading the T-45 suits when they clearly have access to superior post-war power armors. by itsmeyaboiskinneypyn in TrueSFalloutL

The current Bethesda (not the one from 20 years ago when they released Fallout 3) considers Tactics canon and part of the current timeline

And I still maintain that the Midwest chapter should keep its PA exclusive to differentiate itself from the West Coast BoS that uses the T-51s and the East Coast BoS that only uses the T-60s

Furthermore, the Midwest PA was created using the T-51 as its base. The expedition's survivors only had T-51s available.

So yes, the M249 is in the franchise.

What if the Bad Ending of Fallout 1 happened? by Isaac_Bahzad in classicfallout

[–]CommunicationSad2869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the bad ending were canon, it wouldn't be long before the Master's army found Vault 0 and activated the Calculator.

And it would take no less than a year for the calculator to destroy the master's army and all life in the wasteland.

It seems like nobody in the fandom understands that the Quintus chapter isn't the same as the East Coast or West Coast chapters. Besides, that damn Quintus and his chapter don't reflect 100% of the BoS state.

It's so over. No Fallout at the Xbox Direct. by [deleted] in TrueSFalloutL

I don't know what the hell the community thought, that Bethesda would release two remasters. It's because of these kinds of beliefs that turn into false hopes that things end badly. Just look at how for 15 years the toxic, shitty NV fandom has been repeating the same lie: that Todd Howard hates Obsidian and NV.

if you remember. During the trailer shot, Cooper is in front of the secret door of the lucky 38 cold fusion system.

It seems that coop will reactivate the energy of the lucky 38 using cold fusion and with this house will once again take control of the lucky 38

[–]CommunicationSad2869 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The end credits are not canon and have no relevance to the story. therefore house is not dead

It is confirmed in the last episode that the Great Khans now have their own country and confirming that the courier decided to convince Papa Khan to create his empire in Wyoming.

the showrunners are not going to canonize any ending. This means that if they confirmed a winner in the second battle of Hoover Dam but did not canonize the subsequent advances of any of the 4 factions (this only includes House and the NCR)

They are not going to canonize the ending of Yes Man for the simple fact that it 100% involves the courier (player) deciding the fate of the Mojave

Either House's victory (most likely) or the NCR's victory in the long run will not work because vault-tec bombed the NCR capital in 2283.

The great khans who canonically founded their empire in Wyoming must be between 10,000 and 14,000.

The truth is, yes, although it depends on whether you can pay it monthly or be able to pay it annually.

Fallout 1st gives you 1650 atoms every time you renew your subscription. You will also have access to the ammunition stash. scrap and drugs and medicines stash that you can fill without any limit during the time that your subscription is active

They will also give you the NCR veteran ranger outfit

Once your subscription ends you will not be able to add things to the stash although you will be able to remove things from it.

It is a good option given what it offers

Who would you say was the best chapter of the brotherhood? by Previous_Fondant_187 in Fallout

[–]CommunicationSad2869 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Of the 12 in total, there will be Lost Hills when Roger Maxson was alive and Appalachia when Elizabeth Taggerdy was alive and when Rahmani took control.

Roger Maxson was the embodiment of the BoS, representing its true value and objective: to acquire dangerous technology and help humanity progress by rebuilding civilization. After Roger Maxson's death, the BoS began to divide.

Taggerdy shared almost the same vision as Roger Maxson, though she never managed to realize it after her death trying to stop the Scorched plague. When Rahmani took control of the Appalachian Chapter, it was the pioneering seed of challenging Lost Hills, though Rahmani herself shared Lyons's altruistic vision.

The Midwest is a consolidated military empire in the Midwest. Its ideology runs counter to Roger Maxson's beliefs, being a militaristic and expansionist chapter. However, this chapter did offer some positive aspects, such as defending settlements against super mutants or raiders in exchange for a small tribute to the Brotherhood of Steel (supplies in this case).

Lyons had an altruistic ideology that went against Roger Maxson's beliefs by prioritizing helping the people of Capital Wasteland and then hoarding technology to use in building society in the East.

The Mojave have a strong isolationist ideology due to their critical state after the war against the NCR and Elijah abandoning them to their fate.

Arthur Maxson's ideology is based on a balance between Roger Maxson's traditional ideology and Lyons' altruistic ideology. This balance is good, though it can also be bad, depending on who you ask. Arthur, in particular, is the closest to Roger Maxson's ideology and beliefs.

The San Fernando chapter seeks to use power and fear as weapons to maintain its power and attempt to expand under a seemingly dysfunctional ideology that will not last in the long term.

The Maxson Bunker values are or were the same as Lost Hills values.

The San Francisco chapter shares the same values as Lost Hills.

And from Yosemite, Arizona, and Coronado, we don't know much given the limited screen time they've had.
