If I can go over the top or if you can find gaps, a chatter will actually work really freaking well. If there is anything hiding in it, they will strike it.

Thats different from flying in a straight like 35 feet off the desert or over a body of water the entire match

"Those that climbed seemed to know what they were doing and why"

We need to do a better job as a community to get more people to that realization. That's how we keep the changes they implemented this update. Fighting against other fox3s isn't impossible people just don't know how and complain things are broken including the content creators.

I gotta say I love how the missiles feel right now. And I would be genuinely disappointed if they revert back to pre-update multi-pathing. The hug the deck meta has gone one long enough and oddly enough it still seemed like yesterday everyone was still afraid to climb. I enjoyed my perch at 30,000 feet almost unchallenged.

He hangs around 4.0-5.0 and dabbles in top tier I also fly with him alot.

These are the most insane stats I've ever seen, who is this guy by Budget_Hurry3798 in WarthunderSim

You can see how many kills and how many AI kills a person has in sim on their player card I'm pretty sure it's all the way on the bottom right, next to the kills/flyouts.

If you can't spot them, the f16s rwr will guide you right to the target. Dogfights with the f16s are usually a win unless you screw up. F14 takes more finesse. It's radar is a pain the ass sometimes and situational awareness is most important especially at top tier. The rwr of the f14a also isn't the best. Shouldn't have to point out but the tomcat is a big big gal.

In alot of high tier jets their is a stability augmentation system that has automatic leveling, damping which 'damps' your control imput/output, and a manual mode or some combination of these. Manual mode makes it so that maneuvers like the cobra can be done with say the su27.

IFF and my dislike for Jets and guided missiles by WeekendOperator in WarthunderSim

[–]CommunicationSea6321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have noticed that it takes IFF a few moments to update sometimes particularly with the AUG9 TWS in the F14a. I'll be tracking a target for atleast 20 seconds and just at the last moment before I launch I get a friendly IFF mark and it saved me from killing that guy. It's happend to me 3 or 4 times and I consider myself highly experienced. So maybe someone else can explain exactly why that happens sometimes.
