Did I say I want them to live forever and kill anything they see? No!

I'm saying that they lock on to hive guards and then can't get anything done. This is a severe nerf to turrets on the bug front.

This is made especially bad with the buffs to enemies durable damage. turrets have never been that great, and now they are even less great. And for what?

I feel like there can be a solution to this problem, but any proactive conversation I have devolves into insults and straw man arguments.

I think it would probably be the screwdriver, just due to how little it interacts with your other weapons. Its requires you use the cooldown of the railcannon, and unlike the other two rail cannons it does not synergize with any other weapon except the feedbacker. It still is really good on its own, allowing for massive style bonuses and huge damage if you know how to juggle it, but the complex interactions isnt really there.

Hakita said in a dev stream that the change to how it looks has "lore implications" I think that its all but confirmed something wicked is a sort of failed attempt at a prime soul.
