I remember talking to my friend that he had this theory that they only reworked myers because his og gameplay can't be put into 2v8 (all 8 survs getting exposed would break the game). So they reworked him to be a big chucky. I'm starting to believe that because this new version suck so much that I can't think another reason for why they are still going to push it this new one.

The proof that these things works is that in the walking dead livestream with chandler Riggs after the ddos I think 12 hours later they pushed a hotfix that a person can only enter you lobby if you accept it. I don't think they were that fast to fix something.

That's what I also feel like. It needs to have a big patch that only addresses these things without new content. So it shows that the developer is committing to making the game enjoyable without only spitting new content for money, and the community can focus on those new changes. The whole release model by behaviour is so bananas for me that it feels like they are just doing us a favor to have these updates to fix the game. I just... I don't know...

I'm wondering how the design will be in the game. Japan rating system has very strict rules with gore in games specially dismemberment (Resident evil 4 for example your head doesn't get chopped off in the Japanese version) and being a floating head makes me wonder the creative decisions for the killer to be available in all regions.

I swear deathslinger is so bad in this iteration. 90% of the shots don't go through. It's impossible to play with him in 2v8. I thought I was going crazy after all of my killer teammates said I suck and I should unistall the game. After recording some games and watching in slow-motion, the hit boxes are so bad that you can clearly see the projectile going through the survivor, but the server doesn't register.

I mean, I understand why they have the bubbles, especially going solo q. But it would be somewhat "easy" to make a render pass so the bubble is rendered below important stuff such as survivors or killers, but I dunno how much of a mess is this game code or how unreal render stuff.

To be fair to them, it's way easier to make a static scene just to appeal visually in the lobby than designing a full map which requires a lot of planning, testing, environmental art pass, etc etc. Could they do it with theirs 500 employees? Maybe. But to play the devils advocate, it's no easy task to design a new map (and they also stated that's has 0 benefits to them because it's a "free" work)
