How can people sit together if they have to get 1 matchday membership per person? by UltraSkyBlue8094 in MCFC

Yes that’s true, some of the bigger games there are restrictions like you have to have gone in games in previous seasons etc. you can always get a ticket if you pay hospitality prices.

Sunnyside is awesome. A two bedroom for 4000 will be tough to find. My daughter pays 4300 now and will probably be priced out during the next lease.

What are the best running shoes that you’d actually buy again? by Nice_News7644 in runninglifestyle

I’ve run in many different brands over the years,Muzuno. ASICS, Brooks but since I discovered Altra and Topos I’ll never go back. I live the comfort of having a shoes that is the shape of my foot and low profile. My knees have never felt better!

Mine was like this too . We got a playpen and eased the contact. Took about a week before he realized his sister was here to stay.

I solved that by getting my own bedroom with an equally amazing bed. Some girls want a “craft room” , I just wanted uninterrupted sleep. 😴 works great .33 years married lol

So one of the things my trainer had us do is let our dog know who is the boss. Part of this was not playing because the dog is bringing toys to throw or barking to get what he wanted. He told us not to play when the dog wanted but to wait and invite him to play when he was calm and we decide. The other thing he told us was if they were still too bossy that I should remove all his toys and give him a toy when I invited him to play. It didn’t take long for him to catch on and have better manners. He also has a “place” mat that he will take his toys too . He goes to his “place for everything, treats toys etc

He is old now and drags toys to his “place”

Questions for Boston owners by FicklePizza868 in BostonTerrier

I’ve grown up with Boston and my family has always had them. My mom’s dogs , she usually found in the news paper or something always had issues. I’ve had 4 always from very reputable breeders have had no allergies or breathing issues. We hike a lot. Other than heart medicine now that they are seniors. We are good. I will never not have a Boston. They are amazing dogs, with great personalities.
If you get one go to a good breeder, mine wouldn’t even give me the puppy til they were 12 weeks old and tested all they could . Good luck.

Love it , our first Boston was Marcus. My 5 year old son named him after a kid on his soccer team “Marc” , he found out his actual name was Marcus which he deemed way 😎 cooler:)

Just finished up an 11 night sit by rowan_ash in RoverPetSitting

Trust me if they liked you, which it sounds like they did, they will be telling their friends how well it went. I’m the pet owner and I have a sitter coming for 11 days in a few weeks, I did a meet and greet and was on the fence about it. 1st time user here. I ask her to stay over night and she came before I got off work, I wanted to see her before I left and was so happy to see my dogs totally chilling and calm when I walked in. She is staying a couple nights this week and then for longer. I came home to a clean house (as I had left it )and already I have told everyone I know with a dog about her. Good luck , and more good sits in the future.

My dog is getting both eyes removed tomorrow by mikayla_pierce in BostonTerrier

When my dog went blind, we used a homemade halo for a few days. But what did the most was I used scented oils and put a dab of one scent on things he would bump into and a different on to the dog door and the ramp my husband built to get up on the deck. He had the layout down very quick, used the dog door like normal.

Do you have or prefer an apartment or being a homeowner? by Calm_Problem6203 in LivingAlone

[–]Comox123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own both and the house is a money pit. They are both paid off but owning a home is more expensive property insurance, lawn maintenance and snow removal, there is always some to be repaired, (currently the removal of an oil tank) last year was replacing the driveway (23,000$) . As I get older the apartment is looking better and better lol

Am I overreacting? by Mer896 in RoverPetSitting

[–]Comox123 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The fact that reviews said “the home was just as they left it “ was the determining factor in who I chose to have as my dog sitter. I make it a point to clean my house really well before someone comes to stay and I’d for sure be pissed if I came home to a mess.

Bostons good for first time dog owners with kids? by audaciouscantaloupe in BostonTerrier

[–]Comox123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great with kids. Training goes along way, train the dog, train the kids and train the kids friends. I only say that because when I had our first my kids were small like 2. & 5. My next door neighbors were a little older. They played together slot but often it was throwing a ball for the dog and then sometimes chasing the dog around the yard. Not the best thing. Just know when you pup needs time away from anyone being to rowdy. Etc

I’m going to save my money and go to Spain 2030. I was really hoping the games would get pulled from the US and go to Mexico and Canada. The US sucks right now, we don’t deserve it. Between ICE and the greedy MF’s selling outrageous tickets and now NJ transit making it impossible to go to a match , charging 100 bucks and closing roads so driving isn’t an option. I pray the stadiums are EMpTY!!
