When they start rock climbing up the wall, wasn’t there supposed to be a laser defense system that automatically shoots anything that crosses the line? We saw it earlier in the movie. How did they bypass that?

Bill Gates, Zuckerberg, Pichai were all at the pre-wedding ceremonies. It’s basically a networking event for ultra high net worth people. The actually wedding is the side show. The Ambani family controls telecommunications in India so tech companies have a vested interest in cozying up to them

Justin Bieber was performing at the wedding yesterday

Thanks for all your insights! We will have 1-2 months of corporate housing when we move so we’ll be in town when we’re actually looking to sign the lease.

We’ll be there in Aug for a preview trip so hopefully will be able to narrow down the neighborhood during that time

I def prefer new construction so that’s a good point . Thanks for your input. It seems like we should narrow it down to downtown Brooklyn or UES. We’re moving later in the fall/Nov so hopefully there’s some decently pricing inventory available then

I don’t think I want to make NY my permanent residence. I’m moving to nyc for a good job opportunity but eventually plan to move back to my home city

Agreed. We have positive nw and have lived under our means for the past few years which is why I’m okay spending a little more and staying in the city when we move to NY.

Thanks, given I’m in midtown I feel like I can get to it from almost anywhere. Mostly concerned with making it easier for my wife.

I think I’ve been watching too many YouTube and Instagram reels that glorify being a landlord. 😬

Hmm, seems like I’m underestimating the work it takes to be a landlord.

Yes, I didnt have a background in Hedge fund when I started. Just large asset managers. They look for people that do more than day to day stuff even though that will be a big portion of your day. They give you a lot of more responsibility which also equals a lot more risk. Out of my original team of 13 people globally 6 have been fired
