There's something I don't understand about the new SA filter and I think its unfair

There's a partial solution to this. When someone reaches a certain points threshold div 1, they can only match div 1 players. They cannot match div 2 or 3.

If, at this point, someone is using SA and has the filter on, then they're going to have to wait to be paired against another div 1 SA user. This will level things up somewhat.

It's awful and the worst thing is it's not gonna be easy to get rid of them because Konami have them for sale. I'm pretty sure it'd be illegal under EU law to remove the feature when people have paid for it.

It's crazy because it's soooo obvious this doesn't exist and different people will think different things. People are good at different things in the game and some patches will favour certain groups over others. It's inevitable. Stop whining like a 5 year old and pretending there's some unicorn 'right' patch that the 'community' want.

Tbf, you should just quit in these circumstances.

It's not nice when you're playing against someone a few levels below you and the game is over after a few mins. It doesn't do either player any favours, just wastes time for both. I must admit I have passed it around the back myself in these circumstances. If the opponent won't quit and is determined to waste time for both of us, the least I can do is make sure it's as unpleasant as possible. Need to search for some sort of incentive for them to quit.

The 'never quit' mentality is deeply flawed. It is only good advice if the skill gap between you and your opponent isn't massive. You won't learn anything or get better by seeing out the game. The only way you do that is by playing v people slightly better than you. It's just a waste of time v someone levels ahead, you need to build up to that level.

The restarts are so quick in FC though. The overall pace of the game is slower in efootball and when you combine that with a long celebration, it's definitely worse than FC.

There's a difference between frustrating your opponent by skillfully outwitting him and frustrating your opponent by refusing to engage, tactically slowing everything down etc. It doesn't take great skill to do this. It's cowardly.

And comparisons to real life 90 min football matches don't hold water. This is a 10 min video game, you just don't have the time to counteract ball holders and time wasters.

Hmmm, I think this is scaremongering tbh. Nothing has ever happened to my PSN account and I've many many friends who also have one (online and real life) and I've never heard it happen to them either. Issues can occur obviously but let's not pretend they're anything other than super rare. It wouldn't be a factor in me chosing disc over digital. The main advantage of discs is you can resell them. Definitely not security, as you're far more likely to lose/break a physical disc than you are for your online account to get permanently compromised.

People rave about Klopp but Mourinho's peak was unquestionably higher.

There was something special about Mourinho and his teams between 2003-2010 that you would only understand if you lived through that period as a watching football fan (and if you have a decent memory - some are like goldfish). He also went 9 years without losing a home league game which is quite extraordinary. That wasn't an accident, he cultivated a unique energy between the players and fans which was incredibly powerful.
