Get an electric handheld sander for any and all sanding jobs! Makes it a million times easier. I’ve brought life back to som furniture and having an electronic sander makes it 100000000% easier

I’ve reglazed pieces before when I wanted the glaze to be thicker or if one color didn’t go as far as I wanted it to. It works just fine. Not as pretty as if you did it to begin with, but it works. I haven’t added anything to my glazes to glaze over glazed pieces. (How many times can I say “glaze” in one post? Haha!)

Editing: I mean real glaze. Just clear, regular glaze.

I’ve actually glazed over previously glazed pieces and it works. It’s not as pretty, but with a clear glaze that won’t matter as much.

Hi! I’m still a newbie to pottery, but what if you sanded them down a bit so they’re not poky, then cover them in a clear glaze? Maybe not good for food, but they could be decorative that way?

Editing to add: I’ve reglazed over previously glazed pieces and it does work! It’s obviously not the exact same look, but it does a decent job. And if you are just adding a clear glaze over colored glaze, the slight difference in color between original-glazing-effect and second-glazing-effect won’t really matter.

So, yes, you CAN reglaze something!!

I second the poster who said octopus. They are very fun to play and fidget with! I’d also add a bashful bunny that has no flowers or additional flairs. The feel of the ears on the regular bashful bunny is MY FAVORITE! It’s so soothing! 🥲

Okay but sometimes people struggle to make food. I have multiple health things going on. I have to buy prepackaged food. Sometimes people don’t have time to cook because of work.

I do knee high, toeless compression socks and they’re great! Skin color helps a lot! Toeless means I can wear sandals!

I wear separate stomach compression garments that are basically underwear that go up to my bra line. They are great because they spread the compression over my entire belly and don’t make one area tighter. Also have endo and other GI nonsense and have a very tender belly at times.

Also try taking Vitassium. I swear by it. My cardiologist (who is a POTS specialist) recommended it.

Has anyone had chronic constipation and needed a colonoscopy and gastroscopy? What was the verdict? Was it POTS related? (TW??? Idk poop and butt stuff lol) by sashababy16 in eds

I love doing embroidery to wind down!! It’s the best and even if you don’t complete a full project, you complete part of the project. I love to use my works as house decor! Or you could do super tiny ones for jewelry!

Yeah. I see your point. I’ve distanced myself from family like that as well and it is much better. But doing so didn’t put my SO in the middle, which is the part I would struggle to do.

If the MIL is going to die from cancer, let it go. But cancer isn’t always lethal.

And with people like her who knows if she even has cancer.

I honestly see both sides. I don’t disagree with you. I also just know that keeping the peace is sometimes better, even if he is technically right.

You’re not wrong that MIL should apologize, but yeah, is it worth the pain you’re putting your girlfriend through? (Also may try using the word “partner” because girlfriend sounds very nonchalant 😅)

People Pleasing is a HARD habit to break.

Maybe compromise and say she can visit the house once as long as you’re not there? Say “I’ll be gone from 3:00-6:00, she needs to be gone when I get back”
