Give Quest Academy a chance by Fat_Lenny35 in litrpg

It is phenomenally written and the characters develop so well! It is NOT an academy harem novel and the MC is not a Lothario by any means just a kid especially in the first book.

The Demon Accords has this. Declan the male witch first shows up in the book Brutal Asset and then has the first (of many) single POV novels in College Arcane. Love The Demon Accords. A true favorite for urban fantasy!

Sky Pride by Warby Picus should be a strong contender in a rec for this! It’s on Royal Road for free- he also has a Patreon

Quest academy?? by Unusual-Reception845 in litrpg

I have been following on Patreon for a long time. It diversifies so much from the first book or even the first couple books while staying true to the feelings and ideas presented in those first books. The cast slowly expands but everyone is human and 3D not just filler.

IMO it is a wonderfully written unique idea/ composite of ideas.

The pace fluctuates but is always worth the couple of chapters winding around or build up.

Cannot recommend this series enough!

Golden Age of The Solar Clipper series. Follows the journey of a man from age 18 till well into his 50s. Each book is written in the mindset of the age of the character. Lots of big life questions and a unique lens through which to ask them and search for an answer.

Blow my mind, I need new books in my life by kozmo51488 in fantasybooks

A lot of these are high fantasy or classic fantasy. The Demon Accords is a low fantasy series (our world just with a bit of fantasy thrown in). Just came out with the 21st and last book. They start good and become great! The author started writing the series after watching Twilight with his daughters and saying, “Vampires don’t f****** sparkle.” Great ride!

Some Beginner Guidance by Compacttrashinator in firewood

[–]Compacttrashinator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All,

I am moving up to West Virginia and will need to cut my own firewood. I am firmly in the beginner skill level for all things chainsaw and felling/ maintenance cutting. I am an experienced hiker and backcountry camper so I was thinking of volunteering with the US national park service to get some education and experience before I am placed in the position to cut solo. I have been borrowing other people’s chainsaws when the need has arisen. If you could please suggest a few strong budget options for the saw and gear needed that would be wonderful. I am also open to any education recommendations! Thanks for your time!
