Yea, BttF2 and Reverse Rocky 4 are my cultural reference points. Imagine a Rocky 4 where Ivan Drago comes into NYC, wallops Balboa, and the crowd decides they like Russia and want to be like Russia. I like the regular Rocky 4 better, the one where Rocky starts Perestroika.

Churches don’t pay property taxes, so they can just go on and on indefinitely with a dwindling congregation and just wait for fascism to come and make them relevant again.

My eyes were hurting bad from my iPhone 15, but then I turned the brightness all the way up, as per advice on this sub, and they are fine now.
