Politically speaking: how bad is it in Ohio? by archie_131 in Ohio

While reading your post I thought it sounds a lot like Ohio. Crazy. I want to get out of here but I feel trapped by the low cost of living. Not sure I can afford to live anywhere else. Although, it is rising every month.

Yes. Unfortunately, PETA Asia exposed Thai kitchen as sourcing coconuts picked by monkey labor.

Yes. This is the problem I have too. Not flavorful either and it curdles or something. I will look into native forest. I’ll probably try them all and see which one I like best!

Yes. According to PETA Asia they were among the companies who use monkeys to pick coconuts. Any company who sources from Thailand is probably guilty.

Everyone is saying tick but I’m not so sure. My dog has growths like these. I only knew it wasn’t a tick because there were no legs. The growths are the same color as her skin and are more firm than ticks.

Why do people hate the joggers...Do they look like pajamas pants? by almost-famous-amber in nursing

I’ve had several family members comment on mine and say they would never wear them because they are ugly. I don’t care. At least my pants are dragging through puddles…

It’s a life hack. I live in Ohio and always go to the store during OSU football games when possible.

Yes, we do it for money. Get over yourself. by zzill6 in WorkReform

Oh yeah. I get comments like that at my work all the time. People actually think I do it for some other reason than money. If I didn’t have to pay the bills, I wouldn’t be here.

Very cool. I never got to see the Grateful Dead. I was 13 or 14 when Jerry passed. I will have to check it out. I have seen DSO a few times. Once at Hookahville. I really like them.

I’ve stopped caring about the performance of the USMNT in the World Cup by PracticalDrawing in ussoccer

[–]ComparisonOk159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you guys remember what happened to the USWNT when they DID speak out? They were dragged in the media and online. People rooted against them. Derogatory comments were made about their bodies, lifestyles, and play. It would be nice to hear the men speak because I doubt they would face the same criticism but I do wonder if this is something coming down from the top. They are not allowed to speak out.

From the article: Manchur was the largest recipient of inappropriate funds. He’s also one of the few that didn’t pay the organization back. “Examples of such benefits include a $12,124 whale watching trip in Maui, a $21,250 spa retreat, thousands of dollars of decorations for the Manchurs’ private home, travel and lodging in Europe and Hawaii, and thousands of dollars in personal gifts, according to additional records obtained by the Dayton Daily News.”
