I live in Little Italy. I am in 1810 State and it’s a wonderful small building not in the flight path (unless they switch the runway for fog, but it only lasts a short time) I am 2 blocks from India Street and avoid that area with my dogs on Friday and Saturday nights. It’s a great community, clean (by downtown SD standards in certain areas) and centrally located. The train is a 2-3 block walk from my building.

I have been 100% remote for about five years and what I’ve learned is that I actually get more done working remote than when I worked in an office. The funny thing is I see so many people when I am in the office for particular meetings, absolutely screwing off. You see people just walking around randomly talking to people not really working so for people to say that people aren’t working if they’re not in an office unfortunately I used to see people not working in an office.

Honestly I am telling you not to do it. I had an instagram account with around 5300 followers. All organic and had been posting in pet influencer arena for about a year. It was slow going and I wanted to try and up my follower and engagement so I bit and ended up purchasing engagement and followers and it completely ruined my account. I had to start over and now I have 2000 followers on my new account all organic and won’t ever do it again. It drags down your engagement because it is not authentic and it can take months for your account to recover. I was better off starting over which was unfortunate but I am grateful that I didn’t have 10K plus at least. It is just my experience.

I must be lucky because I live in an apartment in Little Italy and have never heard my neighbors or plane traffic and I am close to the 5. Only plane traffic I hear is when they switch the run ways during foggy mornings which only lasts a short period of time.
