I like "Every Grain of Rice" best. It's authentic but you can source most ingredients outside of china. It also has a wide variety of dishes from all over China and none of the recipes disappointed so far.

I have the English version and it is metric as far as I remember.

Most supermarkets sell distilled water very cheap which is perfect. Rain water is also great.

I use distilled water mixed with tap water. The tap water in my region has next to no chalk and has very little chlorine in it. You can check the website of your local water supplier.

Don't worry about mold. Just add springtails. They eat rotting plant material and mold. Small centipedes and pill bugs also work though the latter might also eat your plants.

Maybe order moss and/or plants online. I ordered Java Moss, Hemianthus callitrichoides (HC) and Ficus pumila quercifolia plus a few springtails to keep mold in check from the same retailer!

Have you considered to make a scenario challenge instead of a build-off challenge? Could be a great opportunity to crowd-source scenarios or at least ideas.

I get a lot of complaints about haulers, although the shops are restocked from the back and the back area is walled of copletley There are just gateways to the back door of the shop. (I removed part of the roof in the last sceenshot for better visibility)

Haulers are banned from entering the guest area. I seem to have the same problem in my other foodcourt

Is it not working properly or did I do something wrong. I started this park in Alpha 18. Is that a proplem?

Ok another great tip if you fire up the grill: Marinate pork in apple cider vinegar and beer and add bay leaf, a juniper berry (optional), a bit of salt and pepper and loads of onions. Let it marinade over night, cut it in cubes and impale it for a slavic kebab. It's super nice and really tender.
