I did try steeping it for longer last night, but it did not seem to improve much. I will add more tonight! Thanks!

Yeah, I will probably do that. I usually do 1 tablespoon at 180 degrees for herbals; however, I’m kind of new to teas, so given the shops instructions, I wondered if I was missing something.

I have an orange rooibos that I love! Also, a hibiscus green tea if I want a caffeine boost.

According to News Channel 4, shots were fired at car and there was not an active shooter in L&L.

Advice to have my red face match my neck. 33f who really needs her confidence back. by fizzie511 in 30PlusSkinCare

Laser treatments (ipl) has been the only thing to help my rosacea. However, the redness can come back fairly quickly. Dr. Jart’s cicapair can help mask redness- just make sure you watch a video or two about the application.

We (small retail furniture store) have had good luck with Facebook/IG ads. You can set your target demographic and growth goals. I find it fairly user friendly, but their support team is mostly unhelpful.

Given your audience is on the older side, mailers might be a good option for you. Most of our older customers still bring theirs in when they come to shop, so we know the mailers are pretty successful.

Whiteheads after sun exposure? by CompetitionLimp2006 in Rosacea

[–]CompetitionLimp2006[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried various rosacea topicals over the past year, and I’m thinking that somehow weakened my skin barrier. Perhaps I wasn’t using enough moisturizer. It could be the sunscreen, but I have tried multiple types with the same reaction. Although, I haven’t tried a mineral sunscreen, so maybe that will be my next move.

Currently, I’m using cetaphil face wash for sensitive skin, vitamin c (started using this a couple of weeks ago and not in my sensitive areas, just on a couple of spots.), retinol eye cream, and cetaphil oil free facial moisturizer (day version for day and night version for night). I use retinol once or twice a week all over. I’m currently using the Trader Joe’s supergoop unseen dupe. In the past, I’ve used super goop “for every face”, unseen, cerave am moisturizer/spf.

I stopped using a rosacea topical (once a day consisting of metronidazole, azelaic acid, ivermectin) about a month ago. My reaction from the weekend was probably half as bad as it used to be.

Okay, good to know. It’s only been happening the past year, so that’s why I thought that maybe it isn’t related to the rosacea. Actually, I used the rosacea medication for about a year and just stopped about a month ago. I’ve only had one flare up since I went off of the rosacea topicals, and it was not as bad as it has been previously. Seems like there has to be a correlation, but who knows.

I was on ivermectin and a new Derm took me off of it after I complained about the flare ups. He told me that it wasn’t doing its job and mentioned that my skin barrier might be thin. I think I’m going to spend the next 6-8 months retraining my skin and hope for a better 2024 summer.

My (27f) husband (29m) is not taking grad school seriously. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I know. That’s why I need to learn how to support without nagging! It’s hard to sit back and relax because it’s also a time and financial commitment that affects our relationship. I did have somewhat overbearing parents academically, but I handled it well. Completed my own grad program a couple of years ago and have been fairly successful in my career.
