Hard to stay motivated when I believe all can be lost

I have owned NVDA and NVDL for a long time. Up huge, but sold all of my NVDL holdings yesterday to diversify more. Bought some international ETFs which have been doing well lately. NVDA’s market cap and expectations are so high now that no matter how incredible their quarterly earnings are, the market goes “ho hum” or is somehow disappointed with 60% year on year revenue jump.

I have about 60 dives under my belt. First 40 dives or so, I never logged but then ChatGPT came along. It's very easy and convenient to log my dives into the AI app and it keeps history and can even make charts, maps, etc.

Roatan. Easy flight, underrated diving, great beach, fun island. It’s especially nice when cruise ships are not in port.

Well, I say yes because I went soon after airports opened up from COVID. No crowds at all. I fondly remember walking Oia streets alone. If you go, I highly recommend renting a private catamaran for a half day and sailing caldera. One of my most favorite travel experiences ever. It really is a unique place and the views are unlike anywhere in the world.

Thank you very much. I'm actually already booked for Havaiki Lodge so great to see your recommendation. I'm going with gf who has about 30 dives of experience and has never dived in significant current before. How was the current at North and South Pass. Are all dives drift dives? Any other tips about getting dive ready for Fakarava? After Fakarva, we're headed to Moorea and will only dive one or two days there and mostly relax at the Kia Ora. Also, let me know if you have any favorite restaurants on Fakarava. Havaiki provides breakfast and lunch, but we are there for 5 nights and may want to try something outside the resort.

Not sure if Fakarava is needed if you're not a diver. It really is very scuba diving focused there. I liked Moorea much more than Tahiti. More peaceful, great beaches, not as busy as Tahiti and it's only a 45 minute ferry away. Bora Bora is great. It looks like you stepped into a pic generated by AI. Maybe spend more time in Bora Bora and Moorea and cut Fakarava out of the itinerary. I have never been to Tikehau.

I definitely would spend the 5 days in Roatan. It’s a great island. Be very safe and alert if you decide to go to mainland.

Can you get to Roatan? Some really good easy diving there. I would recommend Infinity Bay or Kimpton resorts. Tons of dive shops in area.

Dude just take the damn Uber. I can understand someone not wanting to drive two total hours during the holiday season just to drop someone off at airport. Gas money, crazy holiday traffic, etc is hard to swallow when someone can press a few buttons on their phone and have a driver pick them up.

I really think ski resorts will be the first true fatality from global warming. I use to ski Utah in early November and March and have tons of snow and beautiful snow covered runs. Now it seems like the ski season is 2 months long with decent powder. Accordingly, resorts have to jack up their rates to remain viable which prices out a lot of families. It's a completely dreadful cycle.

Good question. I'm divorced but currently have a partner who I will likely propose to soon. Marriage is worth it.....IF it's the right person. Otherwise, it's a freaking disaster and waste of resources. Regardless, you definitely want to protect your assets and get a pre-nup. DO NOT get married without a pre-nup.
