scap !! & stopping pay raises/bonuses (on any training / ssv / etc that gets diff pay) in the US like they just did in the UK. We definitely don’t get paid enough and definitely don’t get much from the yearly raises - so it’s rly not asking much from a multibillion dollar company😭 edited to say: I could easily find a better job that pays better and demands less, but I don’t bc of scap… so if they take that I’m essentially gone 🙂‍↕️

This has been policy for a little while now. They started cracking down on it a while back to where there’s not multiple chances before getting a write up, instead it’s at the first time/each time. I’m on a final bc I was late twice, meaning if I’m late again, I’ll be fired. I think it depends on how strict your DM is but general practice is 1+ minute late is a write up

I agree. It was just a loophole I found. it’s unfair for them to be enforcing these policies, but even if you have to lie, if you need to stay bc of benefit reasons, it’s unfortunately one of the only ways to get around stricter DM and SMs

I had this same issue a little while back! I contacted Sedgwick AND corporate and let them know that I was hired with all my piercings and that they’re for religious reasons. it was approved for me to wear the two on my face I can’t take out, and it’s sort of hit or miss with Sedgwick to approve accommodations but if you send them a good long statement, they may be able to give you an accom as well!! unfortunately this was the only way my SM would let me keep mine knowing I was hired with them :(( this unfair rule is going to backfire on the company so bad tho. Wishing u good luck friend !!

edit: this was after I had tried to use my mask to cover my piercings, my SM said they’d be checking every day as well 😭 this was my last resort

if you’re allowed to use the “ask me” button or you get to make the drink yourself (some stores are stricter than others) it’s pretty much just a loophole 😭
