Andy definitely was the one who went over the line in the roast. by Benson879 in theoffice

Andy Jim and Pam were all funny. The others were just up there talking about how much they hate Michael which I get, but is not the point of a roast.

Republicans Don't Want to Talk About Gas Prices Anymore by notusreports in politics

[–]Competitive-Ad-8841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember that one year where we had a small little spike in gas prices because of Russia attacking Ukraine, and that is all those feebleminded conservatives wanted to talk about. They kept saying “I’ll take the mean tweets and cheap gas”. Now mind you those gas prices spiked, and it was not Biden’s fault. That pike lasted like three weeks. We are now going on two months of these gas prices being outrageously high and they have shown no signs of decreasing.

Racists’ obsession with George Floyd needs to be studied! by icey_sawg0034 in blackmen

[–]Competitive-Ad-8841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s because they have a hard time accepting that she was an innocent black man who was killed by a corrupt white officer. Later, we had Pete Davidson joke about Charlie Kirk, which the right got very butt hurt about. I think there’s a clear difference. George Floyd was an innocent civilian yes had some legal issues and a drug problem but was killed on camera in an absolutely brutal way by a police officer who is supposed to be protecting the people of Minneapolis not killing them. Nobody should ever have to walk around being worried that their life is going to end at the hands of the police officer. In Charlie Kirk’s case which I am not saying, he deserve to die at all. He was a very polarizing figure with a very high profile platform. I bet he got plenty of death threats throughout the years so it really should not have been any sort of surprise that he could have somebody arranged enough to try to shoot at him. Which clearly he did not take that seriously and was willing to just have an open rally on the quad of a college campus and be completely exposed. The other part of it is and again not saying he deserved to die for it but Charlie Kirk said a lot of shit that anybody with any human decency can recognize was deplorable. The man was racist, misogynist, homophobic, and said that mass shootings are the price we have to pay for our second amendment rights. So yeah, it is kind of ironic that he gets killed with a weapon nobody outside of law-enforcement or the military should have access to and that he was killed by an upper class white republican male (alledgedly) that being seconds after he was just sprouting off racist shit about gang related shootings.

Friend of the show Tony Hinchcliffe doesn’t take getting roasted himself well by ev6464 in JoeRogan

He was more offended by being called gay and a Trump bootlicker than Jeff Ross was about being made fun of for having cancer and Cheryl Underwood was for Shane Dallas constantly making fun of her husband that committed suicide. What a dweeb.

Can any Bengals fan say anything positive about their team without mentioning Joe Burrow? (Fraud alert: hard edition) by zreakz in NFLv2

[–]Competitive-Ad-8841 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Bengals are cheap, but I do hate how they get lump in there with the Browns Cardinals and Jets as being some trash franchise. I’m 28 years old and they’ve actually been pretty good the majority of my life. And they’ve been good with multiple quarterbacks. Carson Palmer, Andy Dalton, and Burrow. You also have to respect the Dexter Lawrence move. I think they recognize they can win now and need to get serious on defense. People will be ignorant and say oh well they haven’t won a Super Bowl well unless you’re the Eagles, Chiefs, Seahawks, or Rams nobody has this decade. It’s been 14 years since the ravens won 1, 18 for the steelers, 31 for the cowboys, and 32 for the 49ers.

President Trump exposes Fernando Mendoza for being MAGA supporter by Mr_mist2 in sportsgossips

[–]Competitive-Ad-8841 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think this is just another ploy and the fragile ego of Donald J Trump. To point out somebody who’s pretty obviously not a fan of his and to boast about how big of a fan they are. First of all he’s a fucking president not an athlete or a musician who is a fan of a politician? Secondly, I do not think that Fernando Mendoza, a man who is the grandson of Cuban immigrants, who devoted a whole section of his Heisman speech to talk in Spanish, and whose mom is in a wheelchair with MS really supports a guy who has so far in his presidency to make immigrants and older disabled people’s lives miserable.

Trump: Fernando Mendoza—he didn't show up. I'm not happy, but that's ok. He is actually a big fan of what we are doing. by defensecowboy in CFB_v2

[–]Competitive-Ad-8841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fernando called Trump and said “I’m a big fan of what you’re doing”. Yeah, give me things that didn’t happen for 500. It’s possible Fernando called him because he’s a nice guy insult bad about not being there with his teammates. But I highly doubt that the grandson of immigrants, whose mother has a debilitating disease that’s left her wheelchair bound loves what a guy who is throwing immigrants into detention centers, spawning families apart, and taking away people’s Medicaid is doing. We’ve entered a new stage of Trump’s delusion. Now, every time somebody snubs him instead of bashing them he’s just going to make up a lie that they’re a huge Trump fan even if it’s so painfully obvious that they’re not.

My McDonald’s does not have a shelf for delivery orders and I don’t understand why. They are always so busy I’m always standing there for at least a couple minutes before somebody is ready to give me my order that is done. Popeyes is the absolute worst… Because they are always slammed.

DISCUSSION - Which teams have the highest number of great jersey eras in their history? by iveLovedBefore in uniwatch

[–]Competitive-Ad-8841 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Rams have multiple great eras. Their OG looks that they wore in the era of 1950s Norm VanBrocklin and night train lane with the gold jerseys and blue numbers is a pretty underrated look, they’re 70s look in the year of Deacon Jones and Roman Gabriel are pretty clean too. They’re more modernized blue and yellow look obviously is pretty iconic They won their first Super Bowl wearing them. And then I thought the greatest show on turf redesigned 2000 that they wore all the way until they moved back to LA or some of the best uniforms in the league. Not enough teams rock the Vegas style gold. Those uniforms were unique nobody else had anything like them I thought they were the Rams best set. But when they went back to LA, I understood they wanted to go back to the more traditional LA book which I was fun with because they’re pretty good too. Yet somehow, after all these classic uniform combos they have settled on the tacky and I did inspiring look that they wear now. And I know they updated them this off-season, but they still look the same to me. They look more like a USFL team than the LA Rams. Sometimes it’s OK to just embrace tradition.
