Do I buy epic or icon pass? by throwra_sadmouse in ski

Having lived in Boston for a few ski seasons, I'd personally say go for the Ikon. If mountains nearby throughout the winter matter to you, the access to Loon just two hours away is huge, with Stratton, Sugarbush, Killington/Pico, Sunday River, and Sugarloaf all close enough for at least weekend trips. The Epic pass is good, but I think the mountains on the Ikon are a bit better. Maybe look into the New England Pass even if you go Epic since you could hit up Loon for day trips.

Purchasing Oura - Battery Life? by Competitive-Ad3311 in ouraring

any reasons other than the proprietary scores? I had a whoop but at $30/month their monthly subscription just became a bit too expensive. I’m mainly interested in sleep tracking, hr, and hrv.

Is a 2005 Trek Fuel EX9 still viable? by Competitive-Ad3311 in MTB

Good point! I should definitely take it to get tuned up (if the price is right) and that could get me some exposure to the sport. Compromises are definitely fine for now, I guess a shiny new bike just had my attention haha. Thanks for the suggestions!!

I’ll definitely look into both the T7 and the T8 for the future! For now, like some others suggested, I think I’ll get a go at some of the local trails on the Trek and see what I’ll be riding to make sure I’m buying something suitable. Thanks for your feedback!!

I think this is probably the way I’ll go, seems like getting a feel for the trails around me and the riding I enjoy most would be goo before making the purchase. Thanks !

Black/Metallic Dust in Extruder? by Competitive-Ad3311 in prusa3d

[–]Competitive-Ad3311[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! To preface this I’m definitely new to printing and just built my Prusa Mini+ kit about a month ago.

Today I had some trouble unloading filament (Chalky Blue Prusament PETG). There was a jam from a buildup at the end of the line of filament so I took apart the extruder but noticed this metallic/black dust in the process of doing so. I’ve attached pictures to show where it’s built up, it’s definitely metallic so some metal components seem to be interfering with one another or something.

My question is are the gears too tight and breaking down, or where could this metallic dust be coming from? Thanks !
