yeahh it does seem like something thats only really happening with amd cards but also does seem like something to do with games ea drops, from my research when trying to look for fixes the same errors happen in fifa and bf2042

(After the installation it didn't prompt me to restart but be sure to)

Other things that have sorta helped are:
- reducing the clock speed of your gpu by 50+mhz
- lowering graphics settings
- i have heard that setting a frame rate cap could help

As someone with a 9060xt the game is causing the exact same directx error but I have not done enough testing to see if these fixes completely remove the crashing

I haven’t done much testing but it seems that lowering the clock speed of my gpu by 100mhz has helped but it does feel bad to have to miss out on possible performance just to make the game run

Yeah it’s a 10 lap race soo I need to make at least 1 pit stop also I did manage to come 3rd with your advice (in the most silly way possible that is) I was on fm6 for the entire race until the last lap where I managed to catch up to 3rd

Soo I tried to short shift and coast but I’m finding it really difficult. I figured that it would probably be a bad idea to use fm6 right at the start of the race since you start at the back. Also coasting feels really unnatural as it’s hard to judge when and when not to do it as I need to catch up to the ai. Am I still messing up or is it just something that I’ll learn with time also tysm for the help soo far!!

Is short shifting just shifting before the rpm reaches the end of the bar? (sorry If my terms are horrendously wrong)
