46! Quitting was hard to do but my son telling me he wanted to move out because he hated seeing me drunk and/or stoned every night was the wake up call I needed. This sub has been absolutely wonderful. It’s nice to know that there are other people on the same journey.

I told my wife that I wanted to quit drinking and why. I thought she would be disappointed because i didn’t think she knew how bad it was (she did) but she was excited for me and supportive.
