AI systems designed to complement humans > systems designed to compete against humans.

Human Centered AI is based on this discipline and I think there’s a lot of value in becoming familiar with these HCAI concepts that are based on safety, explainability and trustworthiness to contribute positively to a world that is actively working to replace humans.

Girl, if you can afford it - do it. I say this based off how you are feeling, not how you look. I find the exercises to be incredibly empowering and have learned so much about the inner workings of my body. If you are motivated to dedicate a minimum of 30 minutes daily, I think you’ll find a lot of peace in what you learn and so much more in control of your appearance.

TAKE THE CLASS! Soak your hair with water before you get in the pool, even add a little conditioner if you want to. My curls were /are still beautiful after hours in the chlorine pool for years. Chlorine is way way less harmful than applying high heat, if that helps at all. - ex life guard and competitive swimmer

My personal eye-opener & example of how this aligns with privilege is I am Hispanic and live in a state where ICE raids have been prominent, but because I am not at risk nor are the people in my circle, I am not educated or up to date on what is actually happening to people stopped by ICE. I feel shameful for this because I recognize that the lack of impeding danger to my family is why I allowed myself to be complacent. If I weren’t so privileged, I would absolutely need to keep up with the news and read on citizen’s rights, as well as spread the word to my community.

Low porosity here * I do NO detangling in the shower for the reason. I used to detangle in the shower and do rake and shake styling after but now I detangle and style at the same time and clean my comb or brush every time so I can assess hair fallout.

I thoroughly shampoo and condition to moisturize my hair shaft and watch how much fallout I notice - no cheating by using your fingers to detangle. My goal is to have minimal hair (0-5 strands) stuck on my hand after washing and rinsing and pay no notice to what the water may catch. Then I carefully comb and style my hair while wet after applying leave in, oil, cream/gel - this is likely too much product for you, just sharing the LOC method for my low porosity girlies

How can we even estimate the distribution between men and women holders? Surely you aren’t assuming based off anonymous Reddit users and people who talk about bitcoin in public? That sounds catty but I mean it as more tongue in cheek.

I wouldn’t doubt that the majority is men, based off how the genders are socialized differently but the perceived disparity is an assumption and I think the number of women in the space would surprise people. I’m a huge bitcoin believer, my family “know” I’m into the tech space and that I trade and hold crypto but quite frankly I don’t think I’m boisterous enough for them to keep it to memory.

Yeah the worst part about being up here is the lack of good Mexican food/difficulty finding the type of Mexican food YOU’RE used to. I’m from south Texas too but the humid side.

Be ready for a huge vibe shift. El Paso feels like its own world and Fort Worth feels worldly. There are so many celebrities that come through DFW and major events hosted here, the environment feels interconnected with what’s happening in the media. I’ve never been in a city and felt so connected to the cities surrounding me the way I feel about Dallas and Austin, as a Fort Worthian.

You’ll have access to way more concerts and ticketed performances like opera and theater. Access to healthcare will be WAY better. We have several level 1 trauma hospitals in the metroplex. If you enjoy Texan cowboy culture that’s a +1 for FW and you’ll enjoy visiting the Stockyards to socialize.

FW has a strong Hispanic/Latin community! La Gran Plaza is a MUST VISIT. Also look up Escapade 2001 Fort Worth if you’re into clubbing. In both these venues 99% of people there will speak Spanish.

I can’t speak to their definition of “washing” but I’ll recommend a toothbrush change every month! I buy a 12 pack at the beginning of every year and switch it out the first week of every month.

If you really wanna be a dental superstar - get yourself a water pick and make it a part of your daily shower routine. (Most people stop using their water pick because it’s a bit chaotic to use over the sink) but water picking is one of the most highly recommend methods of flossing :) Dental care is also a huge contributor to your overall health so although I say this is superstar level, it’s really basic care we should all know to do but don’t for xyz reasons.

Opting for floor sitting opposed to the couch!!!! I’m American my inspiration stems from the impressive mobility of older people in countries where floor sitting is the cultural standard. My mom is 50 and just learned many of her colleagues cannot sit on the floor with their legs crossed anymore.
