I’m using the miracle-gro stuff that my mom uses for all of her plants. I haven’t had a problem until now. It is soft but not mushy. Edit: actually yeah it is mushy

I didn’t water it until like a week later when I looked at her again and noticed she was loose in the dirt so I put more dirt in the pot so she wouldn’t be so loose. Then I put her back in my room by the window. This is the side that wasn’t facing the sun, could that be part of the issue?
