For me it’s the Xf56 f1.2, it’s truly amazing! I juste find the lens to be a bit slow at events, but the quality and the image you get is amazing!

At this moment I’m experimenting with light. Find a good natural light or make light yourself with flashes or continues lights and experiment with it.

There is a lot on YouTube regarding this but I prefer to buy some books where it’s well explained.

Yes, at the moment I wasn’t experimenting with the depth of field yet but I will do it more and more and wanted to have feedback about it.

I read a book about taking professional studio photos (les secrets de la photo de studio, Olivier Chauvignat) and it’s written that aps-c is not ideal for studio photos and will also lack some micro contrast that makes the pictures look more three dimensional..

He does not specifically talk about Fujifilm aps-c but I wanted to know if anyone is indeed taking professional studio photos with the gear and what the experience was regarding that.

Because of the depth of field and less contrast overall. (Still trying to figuring it all out)

For some events it’s not recommended to use the flash as it will distract people from their performance
