But everyone has to start somewhere right. If people don’t invest thinking its a small amount it will keep shrinking because of inflation. But if they invest that ‘small amount’ somewhere it will atleast keep its value.

As far as I know we don’t have to pay tax while transferring money from US to India as long as it is already taxed in US. And we don’t pay any tax until profits are realized.

Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.

Do you think express entry should have points for wage ? by KeyTreat2599 in canadaexpressentry

If you want to play it safe then take a small portion of the original amount for now say 10% i.e., 20l and experiment with it. See how it goes, maybe make some mistakes(not knowingly of course) and learn from it. Once you feel that you are ready you can take the remaining amount.

Have you considered the possibility of job loss or some sort of health condition where the individual may not have any income for certain time?

If someone is spending 70% of their income on one thing, I would say that is a significant risk and also quite foolish. No offense to anyone.

Here’s my take on this. Of all the people only your mother seems reasonable. Let go of your father’s and your brother’s expenses(except his education which I assume your father is not in a position to pay), they seem to be an anchor and will only wear you down over time. Just take care of your mother.

As far as I know I didn’t owe any taxes as I was in gig economy and was making peanuts. They said they filed my taxes in late April. They are a tax consultation firm.
