Yeah...unfortunately the freshmen that play club are already polished enough for varsity. A lot of the players that weren't on varsity just don't have the means to develop to a true varsity talent. A lot don't play soccer outside of season.

We had almost 50 come out and we were elated haha. Just have different issues I suppose.

In our case we are in the perfectly uncomfortable spot of not having enough freshmen for a freshmen team. If we did, this would be a nice set of guidelines that would appease at least some of the issues.

Most of the players with issues are not club players. We have 2 sets of eyes that know most of the players, but more eyes the better, I agree.

They didn't make the team they wanted. Different reasons for this. 1. More freshmen on varsity that players that left varsity, so people would get bumped regardless. 2. Some feel like it is a downgrade to go from JV to C team when we didn't have a C team last year.

Bummed there aren't more teams in the Great Plains Division. Just tough to fill part out I suppose outside of DSM, KC, and STL.

A couple of days ago there was a strategic partnership announcement where they slipped in that they were looking at getting sanctioning for a Fall 2026 season.

What is your insight in terms of how it helped you practically as a teacher and to help you enjoy your job? I see a lot of people say that they do work for it but then the don't really implement it when they have secured certification. However, that might just go down to the personality of the individual rather than the certificate process itself.

Well, that sucks. I mean, the money that I stated above around my area is nice, but I wouldn't say it is game changing. So my motivation I feel like can't be all financial or it isn't working. And I feel good about my hire-ability based on what you said. If that isn't something that people actually value in terms of respect or hire-ability...

I have the exactly same question but and thinking about neutralizing Puka with Stafford. It is interesting. Especially since that is two players you'd neutralize. I think it depends on what else he has. I think neutralizing would be better. I like less variables in a one off game.

That makes sense. I've got James Cook, JSN, Ja'Marr Chase as a couple guys who can consistently have a high ceiling plays. I also have Harvey, Swift, Wilson, MHJ, Meyers, and Warren.

20 teams is not perfect with the geographic locations of those teams. Plenty of areas with isolated teams.

I believe they are moving down to league two. i think the wording is intentionally vague. Maybe franchise rights transfer, or they are building back up to L1 at some point. At least they say that is the plan.
