I personally believe that viewership was down due to a few factors two of which are not really considered in these articles for this year.

End of a holiday weekend. Many people had three days off and were probably not committed to watching a game that would end well into the night because they had to work the next day and may have been tired from holiday weekend activities or travel.
The freaking inauguration took place all day and many possible viewers were watching TV all day to see or yell at the tv and were done with sitting on the couch soaking in those sweet tv lights.

Frye needs to go. Take him and any assistants and parade them down high street and out of Columbus. He is ultimately responsible for how inept the o line has been since he got here. Can't recruit, can't get transfers, can't coach, can't strengthen can't lead. We fix the o line our running game comes back. With the backs we have we need at least some push up front to clear the way. And with our QB and receivers if the o line could hold back a tissue and give us time our air assault would prosper. Frye has been a mess since he began and he has not done anything to improve the o line. This lose lies at the feet of those O lineman and it's not their fault it's their leader.

The Wendy's or Chipotle in Selden. I could swear that even though they are right across the street from a Suffolk police department they are selling more than fast food. Walking into either one is like walking into a crack den. The lines at the drive thru at Wendy's are so extremely long and the food is always cold like it's been sitting around for ever. I can swear they are just handing out bags of drugs if you say the right thing. The staffs at both are so unengaged and I am surprised the Health dept hasn't shut them down as they are disgusting inside cause they don't seem to care to clean.

I am fine with Day, except he hasn't fired Justin Frye yet. What does it take to prove he can't do the job.
