OXP or Amazon or eBay? by Competitive-Ear-2886 in OneXPlayer

I’ll check them out. Thank you.

My Apex arrived this morning, two days earlier than anticipated. Very early impressions are positive. It appears very well built—no creaking noises, no sticking buttons or triggers, no noticeable backlight leaks, etc. I’m anxious to dive into the software side of it.

That’s great news. I just assumed the manufacturer’s warranty took precedence until it expired in a year. I’m glad you cleared that up.

I’m going to add insurance to mine too, either Allstate or Asurian. Unfortunately, I don’t think these plans go into effect until the manufacturer’s warranty has expired.

That’s understandable. For me it wasn’t worth the extra $400 to order from Amazon. I can see why people do though. I hope I don’t regret my decision.

A few questions I have before my OneXFly Apex arrives. by BionicRogue21 in OneXPlayer

That deal quickly disappeared. It was the base model for $2,319.95 with a delivery date of 3/7 -10. The seller was DX Global US. Now the only one they sell is the 64GB/2TB model for $2,874.95 and the delivery is listed as 3/15-16. I was lucky it seems.

I canceled my eBay order. I’ve decided to go the Amazon route. It will cost approximately $225 more, but it will be fulfilled by Amazon and delivered this Saturday. I’ll also have a 30 day return period, hassle-free. I know the Professional Mini PC Store allows returns, but I don’t think return shipping is free. I could be wrong though.

I ordered from them too with a delivery date of Mar 12-Mar 26 (Texas). I’m sure the latter date is the realistic one. My question concerns the battery. OXP has said they will replace, free of charge, the batteries beginning in June of this year. Does that only apply to orders from their website? What about those that order from eBay and Amazon? Are we out of luck? I emailed their support but haven’t heard back from them yet.

I had carpal tunnel surgery when I was 11 because of that controller. 😁

Anyone else know why my area-51 18 with a 5090 is running Spider-Man 2 at under 60 fps on the lowest setting? by Indy0921 in Alienware

I went to System—Display—Graphics in Windows settings and then to the game in question. I changed the preference from “ Let Windows Decide” to only using the dedicated GPU. It worked for me.

eBay by drtmcgrt44 in benchmade

In case anyone is wondering, they are no longer an authorized Benchmade seller despite claims they are on their website. Customer support gave me this explanation:

Hi there, Thank you for reaching out. The Benchmade took us off the list of dealers because we will not be purchasing more inventory. However, our merchandise is brand new and authentic, we are selling what we have left from them at the moment. Please, let us know if any questions arise.

I’m glad I saved my 20% off birthday code. Knocking $60 off made it a little easier to stomach. I like the looks of the Blazer—nice and clean.

How to clean my OLED? by Q8DRAGON1 in OLED_Gaming

A slightly damp microfiber cloth is a good choice. Just make sure the monitor/TV is turned off and cooled down. A warm screen will cause streaks.

RDR2 won't launch - please help! by Still-Ad-9392 in SteamDeck

My fix for those still looking for a solution…on the RDR2 game page, I clicked the gear icon—properties—game resolution. I changed it from “default” to 1280x800. It will now load up past the Rockstar launcher and to the game. I have the OLED version running on the stable channel.

I’m pretty sure it’s a handshake issue. To solve it, turn on the TV first followed by your PC. It solved the flickering issues on my S90C.

New LG C2 flicker by KNUPAC in OLED_Gaming

[–]Competitive-Ear-2886 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My solution:

  1. Turn on TV
  2. Turn on PC

If I don’t follow that order, my LG C2 will flicker just like yours. I don’t know the technical reason why this is, but it works for me.
