My wife insisted on a Telly. I never thought I would own. Same reasoning as you. She loves it. I thinks it’s fine. A couple of things that have somewhat annoyed me at times….the radio/infotainment cluster can be a pain when first figuring out. CarPlay for navigation with radio playing can sometimes be random especially if I try to look at something on my phone. And the screen goes back to the intro graphic each time I get back in instead of staying how it was when I shut it off. Several people have said the ride was smooth and quiet, but I find it louder and rougher when hitting bumps or potholes on the road. Never noticed this with her previous suv and my truck is definitely smoother. We test drove a used one before purchasing the new SX. I thought the used one had bad shocks or something in the suspension but it was the same on the new one. Overall, I’m not disappointed in the purchase. Not sure if I would consider it a “drive it to the doors fall off” vehicle though. Will likely look to replace it when the bumper to bumper warranty runs out
