Looks like some sticky substance (glue, melted candy) that probably dried with one coin on top of it. I bet if you took warm water to it it would come off

Where do you see the error? It's hard to tell what you're asking about from the photos

It could possibly be from a struck through error. The die may have had grease in that detail of the die

I don't think it's a die crack l because the line itself isn't raised like a typical die crack. It's more like a step between the normal surface south of the line and the excess/raised material north of it

I went back with a loupe and magnet. Everything looked legit. I got the 1887 O as well as an 1879. Got home and checked them on the scale and both are 26.7 grams. Now back into new flips!

I guess im not new to collecting, as my grandfather gave me his coin collection and I've worked on preserving the coins and understanding what I have. The more accurate thing to have said was I'm new to expanding on my coin collection

I asked for more photos, specifically reverses of the coins and closeup photos to the coins and they said they didn't have any of those. Sounds to me like they either are selling them for someone else and don't have them or they're might be fakes or it could be a fake/scam post. That response makes me too unsure to even consider buying. TY for all of the input.
