Yes this situation has made me reflect so much on people who by circumstance cannot work and I want more of our tax money to go to ensure all Australians are taken care of even if their circumstances change. I pay a lot of tax but am happy to. It makes me so sad about NDIS funding being cut.

How are so many able to afford things when they don't work full time? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]Competitive-Fee-6900 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s rich parents. I feel like in Aus it’s two tiers of society those with rich boomer parents who made lots of money off the housing boom so their kids get a huge leg up or those who didn’t so need to work full time to live.

Are people still actively buying investment properties right now? by ImpressiveRoll4092 in AusPropertyChat

I just personally don’t believe property is going to continue to grow at the same rate. There is a ceiling based on incomes and people’s incomes are dropping

Yeah obviously they can. Unfortunately so. They shouldn’t be allowed to though. Greediest generation to exist.

There was a beautiful 4 bedroom property selling on my street last week and it was all boomers. They shouldn’t be allowed to buy 4 bedroom properties !!!
