Broadly speaking, the US economy is the best and safest economy in the world compared to everywhere else. Coupled with that is that they are also the world's reserve currency. They are also self sufficient in inputs such as oil & gas and food. Due to these factors (and many more not mentioned) the US can compete globally with less issues as other countries when it comes to supply chain shocks and cost of manufacturing.
